They revealed it on Joker's 75th Anniversary. The tattoos paid homage to the history of the Joker.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI still find baffling they got a non smiling Joker for a promotional image of his anniversary.
Save the damaged tattoo I really liked the look. Maybe they can add them later
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherBen Affleck has been spotted in Toronto this week, where Suicide Squad is filming.
Batman's gonna be in this, basically.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerBatman should be the villain in this. Well, antagonist.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."This cast is getting huge. Who all is actually on the team again???
"A king has no friends. Only subjects and enemies."David Harbour is probably playing a government agent probably the same agency Amanda Waller works at.
Some think the Alex Meraz is playing Jason Todd and it is a flashback to what put the Joker in prison.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI'm okay with a relatively muscular Joker, but please, no bulked up Scarecrow or Riddler, ever.
They ate filming a snowstorm scene tomorrow on Adelaide St. and Ching Lane.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureWas Ed Harris ever confirmed to be in this, or was that just a rumour? Because that would get me pretty excited.

Sing the song of sixpence that goes burn the witch, we know where you liveIt was just a rumor though Joel Kinnaman who plays Rick Flag did bring it to his attention and wanted him to have a role in the movie. Both starred together in "Run All Night."
Ed Harris said he didn't audition when he was interviewed about it.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe guy they're getting to play Scarecrow.◊
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Might be the "Cowboy" look, but I feel he needs a cigar.
I don't think the Joker should be that muscular, but he has been portrayed as being surprisingly strong in the comics, and I can see them trying to get across that the Joker is personally very dangerous all tricks, weapons, and schemes aside.
Also, having recently rewatched Prefontaine, I'm more pumped than ever for Leto!Joker. I feel like a lot of his detractors are more comic book fans than anything else, and not likely to have seen him in say, Requiem For a Dream or Dallas Buyer's Club.
And I made this joke on another site, but it bears repeating-even if those tattoos HAD been his actual appearance in-film, nothing is worse than that Prefontaine mustache.
Leto was also in Fight club.
They think the guy in the mask is Deadshot but he is shorter than Will Smith.
He could be wearing a Checkmate uniform.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureYeah, but his role in Fight Club was really, really minor.
And I deliberately mentioned movies less likely to be seen by the typical comic book movie audience, where Leto's performance was on point. Fight club probably doesn't fall into that category.
The man doesn't have an Oscar for nothing.
Is it from wearing that mustache?
Additional: Shouldn't Deadshot have a red eye for his scope? That helmet looks more like a yellow M.

The Deadshot thing could be a stunt double?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
If he wouldn't have the tattoos then why did the reveal have them?
