I don't like the half-and-half imagery because it looks more like a Split Personality (edit: and in fact we have a very similar image on that page). For this trope, there needs to be a veneer of beauty disguising a heart of darkness. The shadow gets that across better.

My thoughts exactly. I still prefer 3; 8.1 might be acceptable, but 8.2 just doesn't look like the right trope.

Edit: Page topper fix.

Anybody else have any opinions on this?

Just an update: people like 3 the most. 8.2 has about half the support.

Is that a cyborg of some kind? I don't see the trope.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

[up] No, I think his face is in shadow. Pride would be an excellent choice if a better image could be found.

For me it's a toss up between 3.1 and 8.2

The current image is great! Sweet looking girl with the "face of an angel", who appears to be cuddling her pal, but on closer inspection, she is holding a gun to her back - "mind of a demon". Fits perfectly IMO...

[up][up][up] 1920x1080. Although it looks like it's been blown up from a smaller image; I'd heard that Brotherhood aired in 540p instead of 1080p as a cost-cutting measure, so that may be why, not sure.

My only concern is if Pride's considered a spoiler or not.

[up][up] You can barely see the gun and there's no indication she plans on using against her friend. For all we know They Fight Crime!.

I know who Pride is and I'd say that 1. It's a mega spoiler 2. He still looks like a cyborg in that photo to me.

Might this warrant a crowner?

Damn...I should've looked closer at 3 from the get-go. It's watermarked.

Did we ever settle the watermark issue with the lead?

Not to my knowledge, no.

There's a picture recently posted on an adult-only forum depicting a cute little bunny-boy with wide-open innocent eyes and a questioning smile... splattered with blood and trying to hide a knife, dripping blood, behind his back.

If we can get permission from the artist, it would be suitable either for this trope or for Badass Adorable.

I'm willing to ask, and to see if I can post it in a more public forum for evaluation, if there's enough interest.

Okay, two views of the murdering bunny-boy have been provided.

First, the one by "LittleTLK" who has given permission for it to be used so long as the creator of the character is willing.

Second, the one by the character creator, "Ka1dus" who is willing for either image to be used so long as he's credited as the character creator.

[up] The first one's the better of the two, though the question mark almost makes it look like he doesn't know what he's doing.

The first of those isn't bad. His face looks pretty creepy in the second one, though.

[up][up]That's a good point, although it could also be interpreted as "why are you looking at me like that?"
