Seems like a good proposal, but please don't forget the namespace.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSure, swap.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, swap.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.+1 to swap, although I'd really prefer to use something that's better quality on Shear Menace.

Suggestions for Shear Menace: [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊
Photobucket doesn't work for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's actually a very similar image to the YT image (6.2), but with a slightly different angle.
I like the second.
Clock is set.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSeems like we have a consensus to move the poster of The Burning currently used in Shear Menace to the work page instead, so I've made the switch and tagged them accordingly.
Now have we reached an agreement on which image we should use in Shear Menace in its place?

No, not enough consensus on those...if we don't get any more suggestions in the next day or two, we'll need a crowner on the ones we have now.
Crowner has been cut free and impaled to thread.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAdded a few Scissorman options.
Bump for votes...only one in the green right now.

Another votes bump; 2 votes is very little.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUpdated "Scissorman 2":
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
I was about to add an image to Shear Menace when I came across this thread. I was going to use this one, also from Clock Tower.
Pulled it off the Clock Tower wiki. But since this thread exists, I figured I should bring it up before pulling the trigger. I think it's perfect, myself, but what do I know?

https://angelskingsandweirdos.com ''Where imagination takes wing... and then gets sucked into a jet turbine."That's actually already in the crowner, but that version is bigger than the one that's there.
Either way I think we can safely go with one of the Scissormen; it's just a matter of deciding between the two.
Okay, I called the crowner and was about to make the swap, but I see that someone's already put a pic on the page. I definitely prefer the pic in the crowner to what's there; thoughts?
I disagree, especially since it's two images for...no reason.
I'd still go with D-DEH SCISSORMIN
Plus there's the principle of the fact that anytime we want to change an image we have to bring it up in here first.

Technically, Shear Menace previously is imageless and adding pictures (as opposed to replacing them) is a free action, but, yeah, the Scissorman is much better than whatever is currently on the page.

Even when a page is imageless, apparently the rules state that you still need to make an Image Pickin thread, even if it's just a Suggestion.
I removed it, but if we want to make a new crowner with this in it (or just move on consensus), here it is:

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Here's an interesting one. Pages about movies commonly use the movie poster as page image. The Burning instead uses a silhouette of the main character, and it would be clearer to use the movie poster. The poster is, in fact, used on the trope Shear Menace (which is about using scissors as weaponry). And while the character from The Burning is an example, the movie poster is not.
So I suggest we swap them. Put the movie poster on the page for the movie, put the character on the page about scissor-wielding characters, and we've got two improvements.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
