Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSo, the same cable network that finally ruined Torchwood is taking on the Evil Dead?
I hope this goes better. I love Bruce Campbell.
Wasn't Torchwood "ruined" by the BBC killing everyone?
Groovy.
Hail to the king, baby.

Holy fuck, now I NEED to see this.
He's still the badass warrior he always was.
Raimi talks about the show. He says Ash is "Old, cocky, and stupid."
The trailer is here, and it looks GREAT.

The fucking beginning had me rolling.
Welp, looks like I gotta clear my Halloween night schedule... (shakes Etch-a-Sketch)
Too bad it's coming out on Starz, though.
Guess I'll have to bittorrent it after it airs.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpThe first episode premiered last night and it was awesome.
The only problem was it wasn't a full hour it was only about 45 minutes so I was left wanting more.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI wouldn't mind the rest of the cast getting killed off so it's only the Bruce and Lucy show.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I loved the hell out of this, watching it last night. It's definitely cornball, but in the same way Army of Darkness was and it is glorious because of it.
I like that there might be a trend with using Deep Purple songs in the episodes.
- "El Jefe" had Space Truckin'
- "Bait" has Highway Star
Both are from the Machine Head album.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureFUCK YEAH DEEP PURPLE
Seriously, why does no one care about Deep Purple? Guys rocked with Zeppelin and Sabbath and made some of the heaviest rock of the time. Plus their lead singer practically invented heavy metal screaming. And they introduced classical influence into rock and roll! Without Blackmore and Lord, we wouldn't have Van Halen and Randy Rhoads!
OK, I may be exaggerating, but I really love Deep Purple.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?As long as they play Smoke on the Water at some point, I'm good.
Personally, Burn is tied with Space Truckin' as my favorite. It sounds so damn epic, like they're saying "your shit is wrecked".
Hell, it even makes a bit of sense to use it in Evil Dead. It's pretty much about unleashing hell on Earth.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

Titled Ash Vs. Evil Dead, the 10-episode series will see Campbell reprise his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.
When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.
