Doesn't sound like Nice Guy Syndrome. It sounds like he was trying to chat you up and it didn't work. It just sounds like he doesn't know how to get girls.

Hi, I'm new here and I want to talk to someone about this. So I received a friend request by someone (won't say his name though) and we chatted a bit on Miiverse and the guy was friendly for the most part. Then, out of nowhere he asked me to be his girlfriend. When I politely refused, he de-friended me. Is this a case of Nice Guy syndrome?
