Opening, and it seems acceptable to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe image is already on Hot-Blooded though.
I'm not a fan. First, the character looks androgynous, and second this appears to be the trope Lethal Chef instead, or possibly Chef of Iron.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Either way, we can't use the suggested image because it's already on another page.
Here's another suggestion: [1]◊
Just looks like a male chef.
Check out my fanfiction!Anyone got an image of say Ben Sisko from Star Trek Deep Space Nine cooking?
That is pretty much the trope, although IMO it should be less 'job like'.
"Man who can cook" or "Man who is a chef" are People Sit On Chairs.
The trope is about how someone isn't a real man if he can't cook. That it's less manly to not be able to cook. And to a lesser degree, the type of cooking, as cooking that involes live fire is manlier than composing a healthy salad.
Check out my fanfiction!Well, I haven't seen any cook with such an aggressive display, which strengthens the image for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSomething I found while image searching for "manly cooking": Tattooed guy grilling outdoors with Star Wars aprons
Found this◊ but 10 isn't bad either.

for 10's suggestion. at the risk of being stereotypical, the tattoos really do it for me
just needs some cropping i guess. ...oh also would we need permission since it's got a watermark on it?

10 is good enough for me.
Add in my vote for 10.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI'm personally partial to Sanji, but I'd need to find a good image of him first.
the picture i assume everybody meant by '10' (uncropped)
same pic just cropped in case we wanna be Those People (but at least theres no tvtropes watermark tacked on)

Nonono, I don't think we want to be "those people".
If it is signed like that we really should ask the photographer.
It's apparently from a shoot for a clothing line called Haute Mess Threads. I contacted them through fb but they haven't updated since july and there are posts from people on their wall that indicate they perhaps aren't available anymore.
Do we need permission to use the photo if the mark is a logo, not a signature?
Capped a screenshot of an episode of Leverage. What d'ya think?

I think the OP suggestion fits best here if we could find another suggestion for Hot-Blooded. I'm not really a fan of any of the suggestions.
Of 22 I think I can't tell who the head chef is and they don't look like like real men, especially the one actually doing the cooking.
What actually qualifies as "real men"? Another reason I'm not keen on the OP suggestion (aside from the fact that it's already being used elsewhere) is because the character in question, like most Anime/Manga/VN protagonist looks way too androgynous.
page needs an image. not ashamed to admit i'm partial to anime-ish drawings so have emiya shirou rocking the skillet
