Yeah I'm pretty he hates everyone like that, and wants to "die horribly". It's not as if he was planning to get away with it.

His caricature in EC is more like "COME BACK HERE SO I CAN SLAUGHTER YOU!" and "SHIT, THIS PERSON'S DEAD, CAN'T HURT THEM NO MORE, WHERE'S THE NEXT—OOOOOOH THEEERE YOU AAARE, SWEEETIE! COME TO PAPA!"

Hm. Imagine if they had made such a game where you'd play as Heath Ledger's Joker. The difference in audience reaction, what would it be? Is that what it takes to make it awesome, a green and purple scheme, some sadistic quips, and a mad laugh?

Heck, I suppose that would be easy to mod into place. Holy Terror, Joker!

I'd rather play Harley than a Joker of some form.

[up][up]That would be an altogether different form of madness, but no less entertaining.

I guess you felt enough interested in that video from EC thread that you just felt you had to post it here too huh? xD

Again, good arguments, but the name calling part kinda falls down flat. It goes from logically dissecting emotional arguments to using emotionally manipulative things to provoke and rouse people.

Shouldn't really be surprised according to what you put on your trope page though now that I checked it <_< Ah well, banned topics, otherwise would be good fun debate time

Are we still talking about this?

Y'know, with a little work, make it so the targets are criminals and you are not to kill cops and civilians, this would make an ace game for The Punisher. No, think about it. A nihilist, Death Seeker who just wants to kill, that's Frank on a bad day.

There was already a Punisher game made for PS 2 and Xbox back in 2005-ish. From what I've heard, it's not bad.

Still holds up today, and the model was the basis for the Saints Row games...the engine and such, not going around as a vigilante...well unless the Fuzz missions count. Point is if we could get Garth Ennis to pen the story and change Hatred to fit the character then that I would play.

The game was pretty okay from what I remember. Fairly certain I impaled a dude on a sword fish. Or a rhino; it's been awhile.

Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?

And the LJN game for the NES?

Um...that was the Operation: Wolf style game wasn't it? I'd say it was a surprise to see such a game on the NES. Run around gunning down criminals. It wasn't bad, certainly better than many of the other comic games at the time. No precursor to Rainbow Six, but if you liked the game adaptation of The Untouchables or Dick Tracy on Genesis then give it a try.

Gunning down criminals is cowardly, in a game. Face it: you're not fighting for justice, they're just convenient, Acceptable Targets. Face the darkness inside you. Go out and vicariously murder people for the joy of it! Take the monster inside you and give it a walk outside, let it out to play, where it is harmless and can hurt no one. No more pretexts. No more excuses. Indulge.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

I tire of your edges! Bluntness is where it's at! Who wants a sword when you can have a flail! Who wants an axe when you can have a warhammer! Why slice and dice when you can smash and crush?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

[up] Yes, this. Thank you. Apparently the big problem with this game is that boo hoo it doesn't give me an acceptable excuse to do exactly what I do in every other shooter. Get over it.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand!

I am over it. I see it, think, "Gee, a game for 4chan's /b/ board to tear apart" and move on. I want to unleash the beast I always have GTA Online to indulge in.
