This oughta be easy enough to find a pic for. Here are some Life After People screens to get things started.

Overgrown cityscape

Statue of Liberty

Washington Monument

Penguins

Rhino

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.

I like the Statue of Liberty.

Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.

I'd fixed the article link before the thread opened, FWIW.

I prefer one that shows non-floral life still around the remnants of humanity, so penguins or rhino for me of the OP's suggestions.

Also, the pothole to Earth-Shattering Kaboom in the article description seems awfully sinkhole-y.

Penguins or Washington Monument for me.

Penguin reminds me of Olmec ruins a bit too much. Rhinoceros is OK.

If you want more pics with non-floral life, here's another screen from the series showing a tiger on the white house lawn.

And while googling for that one I discovered that there's apparently a video game called Tokyo Jungle which can be mined for more options. Lion fighting hyaenas. Grazing panda. Mammoth (wait what) fighting foxes. And last but possibly best, scenic view featuring pooping antelope.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.

[up]I like those. The last one is strangely amusing. "I don't give a crap about who used to live here."

I like the grazing panda, as long as it looks good at wiki size...that's a potential problem with a lot of these suggestions, I'm afraid they're not going to look very good when shrunk down.

Pre-weekend votes bump; 5 options in green so far.

Darn, I cannot seem to view the Tokyo Jungle ones from this computer but that game is a pretty fantastic example.

IDK if you are interested but I would recommend it highly if you are, it is a hecka lot of fun and like $15 I think.

This one's been gathering dust for a while now...giving it one more bump to see if any of the options pull ahead to a clear lead.

Added, tagged, and sourced the image.

Maybe a caption to suggest emptiness, like "..." or *chirp* *chirp*? With or without potholes.

"When the urban jungle is taken to its logical conclusion."

I can go with either this or the previous one. I was thinking of that pun, but couldn't come up with a phrasing that rang out well enough.
