Suggestion: Rope Bridge

Two reasons why I prefer the Indy shot of the current immage◊:
1. It provides a link to a work page 2. The situation connects better with the trope description (danger, rope cutting)

Yeah, I like that better than the current for the given reasons.

Nah, that thing is made out of metal wires. That's sturdy enough.

Not quite sure about whether the OP suggestion is better than the current, but I wouldn't mind it, at least.

I think it's better: more dynamic/interesting angle, and from a work of fiction.

I like the OP suggestion a bit more than the current.

How about The Emperor's New Groove?

The quality seems a little dodgy, but that's a good option too, and not as cluttered as the Indiana Jones pic.

Many of these dont seem to fit the 'rickety' theme that is at the heart of the trope, IE planks falling or ropes getting cut and so on.

It's pretty hard to show that without an animated image. The Emporer's New Groove one probably illustrates the "barely held together" look though.

The dodgy quality can be helped but without a good caption it is missing something

Regardless of what gets chosen, they're all better than the current, just on the grounds that you can barely even make out that it's a rope bridge.

Man, I had a thought about the perfect example of this but wow a decent a pic of the Mythbusters duct tape rope bridge does not seem to exist on the Internet.

Well, I did that and brightened it up slightly, since the darkness against the bright sky was bugging me.

It does a pretty decent job of illustrating the "scary and unsturdy" gag that rope bridges are known for. Only problem is that the image is rather horizontal, so I'm not sure how a resize would work out.

That's decent for Image Links, but not as good as for getting the trope across.

I added @18 to the crowner since to me that's the only one that clearly demonstrates a situation that can happen due to a rope bridge.
