Yeah, that's got to go...can't look at the suggestion right now.
Not sure. That pose and look can suggest a few different feelings.
Check out my fanfiction!Looks apathetic to me. Suggestion is far superior to current.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Whose bright idea was it to use THAT for an image. The suggestion is quite good and I cant find a better image.

OP suggestion is the best so far, but I want to see it at wiki size.
The suggestion is a bit better than the current.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'd prefer something showing her actively apathetic (heh) — perhaps smoking? Perhaps from the Simpsons comics?
Are you referring to this◊?
That isn't Ms. Krebappel, that's Miss Hoover, who is also an example of the trope. The context of that picture seems to indicate a more urgent, short-term issue to solve rather than showing complete apathy.

The picture could work better if the page was worded lazily like, "An apathetic teacher is a trope where... Ah, who cares? It's exactly what it says on the tin.". Self-demonstrating with a bit of lampshading perhaps. But if not that, then I fully agree with one of the suggested Simpson pictures.
That could work as an image caption, Self-Demonstrating Article is usually more harmful than good.

Eh... I can't post external links. I'll try again in a couple of days.
I like the teacher's expression in the Simpsons one, but I agree it could be interpreted in different ways.

Just post the URL.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Nvm, I can post links now.
Btw I'm not sure if memes are OK.
Edit: OK, I'll try to find something else.

Memes are not OK, yes. That includes these images unfortunately.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNumber 9 is good.
9 is pretty good.
I looked at the original again...the original doesn't even seem like a case of Apathetic Teacher anyway, just a strict one.

Clock is set, and I like 9.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRe-clocking. I'm still in favor of 9...crowner?
The clock is way past due. Locking for inactivity/lack of consensus; no action is to be taken based on this thread.
Ok, so the image on Apathetic Teacher relies mostly on two large text bubbles, in Spanish. I don't think it's a very good image, it's mostly text-reliant and rather confusing if you don't speak Spanish.
I suggest this one is much more straightforward◊.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
