Yeah, not really feeling the current, although the suggestion's a little lacking in the obvious evil.
Lateral change. In fact, I am inclined to keep the current.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think the lack of colour detracts from that one.
Nothing is better than the current.
Check out my fanfiction!Oooh, I gotta toss some Justin Crowe into the mix.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I like the first of those. If there's a color pic of the character in 4, she might be a good candidate as well.

None of the suggestions so far seem any better than the current image (which I honestly don't think is that bad).
I'm rather wary of using animation to illustrate this trope because I get the feeling that abnormally colored eyes aren't going to stand out as much or be as creepy in that medium.
Like the first suggestion from post 6.
I like 11.2.
Gotta agree with that. Looks good.
Check out my fanfiction!11.2 is good but I am not sure if better than the current.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat looks more like shadowed eyes; I can see a sclera there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLol, missed that. The episode editors probably missed that too. They are suppose to be all black.◊[1]◊

Here's another 30 Days of Night suggestion.
19 looks evil, maybe too much. It's better than just a face with black eyes but she doesn't look like she's "gone evil" and her eyes can "return to their normal state." I think a more human face would be less distracting.
Yep, in 19 the face looks fairly evil on its own.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt looks like we might need a crowner.
Crowner's hooked.
Pre-weekend votes bump; two options in green so far.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I'd like something more sinister for this trope, like this shot from From Hell
