Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa (My Monster Secret)

Well, the men are all masochists, so presumably they're all tied up with ball gags in their mouths in various basements.

It's a little funny; the annoying orange from the first chapters ended up becoming the most mature, and developed character in the whole series.

Her chapters are just really good. The central theme of her arc (growing up and moving forward) is relatable, and hits you where it hurts. From what we know of the raws, it just gets more interesting further down the line.

Shiho is the best. And I can never remember which one is Akari and which one is Akane even though I like those two a lot as well. Either way, I liked her advice.

Shiho is great. She has way more depth that one would expect from what looks like a comic relief character.

Also, aww, poor Shiho , her chest hurts. But if it isn't love, she should get that checked with the doctor.

Okay, so, Shiho is probably not the Charismatic Pervert II, she probably likes Asahi while Youko and Asahi are supposedly not a thing in the future, I wonder if they switched roles? But then I guess you'd expect Rin to recognize her grandmother.

…Admittedly, Youko being the CPII would be both scary and hilarious. But yeah, Rin doesn't seem to have a family tie with Shiho. That, or she's better than she lets on at keeping secrets.

Psshaw, the only true ship in this series is ShimaShirou. :P

I'm still in "Aizawa is CPII" theory camp. I knew Shiho wasn't CPII, since that would be too obvious. The lust feather incident pretty much confirmed it.

Also, found chapter 155 raws, in which Lyendith need to summarize because it's one of those story advancing chapters. BOX GIRL IDENTITY REVEALED. SHE'S AIZAWA 10 YEARS FROM THE FUTURE.

GAAAAAH, why did I open your spoiler? .−. I thought you were talking about chapter 153, but it was actually 155…

Err anyway… yeah… another wham right in our face, violent as a shovel strike. But my help isn't needed, everything is in the last page, really. The rest is mostly heartwarming nostalgia, and everyone being Jitsu wa characters. But god, adult Aizawa is gorgeous… Her coming from an earlier future than Rin and co will muddle things even further, though.

We're on chapter 119? Finally we're getting to Shiho's arc, can't wait for chapter 123 to get translated.

But chapter 155, holy crap! Aizawa is the box girl? I was kinda hoping she'd be the CP II, dang. She got even prettier though. Although I find it funny that she could've taken any disguise she wanted, could've had a whole different robot body, but chooses instead to merely stick a box over her head. XD Anyways if she's not the CP II either then who the frick is?!! Maybe the succubus girl somehow.

I'm guessing this'll be the result of a small squabble similar to the one after Box Girl showed up.Typical Jitsu Wa drama.

I'm thinking more of a chase scene like when they first found out about Aizawa's secret, I mean she does have a shovel after all, it's a bit of an upgrade over a hammer but it'll probably still be considered a future tool.

Oops, sorry I fucked up with the chapter number.

Also, from what I can read, Box Girl is from 10 years into the future. Rin and co are from 50 years.

@Raw: That's...Something. Do you guys think future Aizawa will keep the weight to her presence? Nothing stays serious in Jitsu wa, but there's been so much build up to her.

As for the newest English I love how this is handled, it's been and foreshadowed beforehand, but part of me is a bit eehh on it all. One of my favorite parts of Jitsu wa is how the colorful and varied cast of girls aren't all swooning after our lead dork, and while coming to terms with a hopeless love is a step-up from the usual harem antics...I don't know.

So Aizawa is only 27-28 here? Dang, that's not a long time for the future to f*ck up in this manga. And by then Asahi would've married someone else or Youko has and Asahi will marry later.

I'll admit I wasn't super fond of Shiho falling for Asahi either, but the payoff when we find out who her husband actually is made it better. Plus we know she doesn't pine for him as long as the other girls at least.

Nagisa's shiny butt still gets me even after reading the raw.

Latest raw seems to imply that Box Girl is far more active than her past self.

Chapter 120 is the one that made me want to become a lion, for a second. As light as Jitsu wa is on fanservice, Masuda did a pretty damn good job at making Shihomom genuinely hot, especially in this chap. I also like the mysterious, almost Ambiguously Human aura he gave to her.

So, err… Zoo Yay?

Okay, so how seriously should we take Shiho predicament? On one hand it looks pretty genuine and serious and on the other we have this chapter with it's Pervert Ball Z nonsense.

Hard to tell… You could say the "Pervert Ball Z Nonsense" is serious business for her, even if it just looks absurd to us. Between her inferiority complex with her mom, her friendship with Nagisa and her feelings for Asahi, Shiho's character arc is always straddling between seriousness and stupidity, really.

Her mom is a weird character too. You can't possibly take that exhibitionnist nomadic demi-goddess seriously, yet when she gives advice to her daughter, she's very serious…

(I'm really waiting to see Shirho's dad for that matter)

Dunno, I can imagine a meeting à la TLRD, where Shirhodad was the only man who could survive her Pervert Power.

156 raw… Future Nagisa has become young Nagisa's worst nightmare. But otherwise… the infiltration mission has been declared a success, and the Aizawan HQ is asking her to help helming the project to interact with Earth. Which means going back to her planet − for real, this time. She ends up asking her future self which choice she made in the end: stay on Earth with her friends, or answer the call and fulfill her dream.
