Yun set his gear down on his usual workbench and began disassembling Skyfire, checking the condition of each part.

Flashback: Workshop

Alexia smiled at Pius gratefully. "Thank you. I truly mean it. So, um, anyway. I'll send the blueprints from my scroll."

She looked a bit nervous.

"What do you think?"

The Mall: Girls

"Well, um, okay. I know a place to eat. Not that fancy, but the food is heavenly."

She tried to ignore her discomfort at Tori ivading her personal space.

And so, minutes later, the girls were at The Vale Kitchen restaurant, two very large pizzas and other goodies in front of them. And muffins for Lori, obviously.

"So, um, Miss Naima, I would like to go with you later. I..er, need to update my wardrobe as well." said Alexia, twirling her pasta with a fork.

"N-not that I have anyone to impress or anything like that..." She was blushing.

And then something exploded. Not in tge game, but from somewhere just outside the dorm.

Then there was a Grimm's roar, and Port's epic cursing.

"Noooo! You son of a gay robot dirty whore!"

At the sound of an explosion, roaring and cursing, Jack raised his hand, "I'll get it." He walked out of the room, ignoring the fact he was only wear a pair of jeans and an undershirt, weaponless save for an empty beer bottle and mostly drunk. "Tell me who wins." He cracked his knuckles, and walked outside, Looking around.

Rufus grabbed Yun by the shoulder when he got up, "Take me with you." If allowed, he'd follow Yun over to Workshop C.

"The more the merrier, Boss." Yun replied with a nod.

The Vale Kitchen

Cara looked at all the food laid out in front of her, not knowing what to eat first. Why was she always so indecisive when it came to tiny problems like this? She hated that about herself, but it wasn't a very important trait.

She quickly grabbed the first thing she saw, a slice of pizza, to avoid wasting any more time.

"I don't have any plans in particular for tonight!" she announced in her normal bubbly tone. "Where are all of you going after this, again?"

She thought she remembered most of it, but hoped hearing all the options again would help her sort out her thoughts. Damn that indecisiveness.

But now that she'd already said that out loud, she realized everyone might simply be going everywhere together. It wasn't impossible. Even when she put a fair bit of thought into her pointless comments, she still often made silly mistakes.

"MUFFIIIIIIIIINS!!!"

Lori immediately grabbed the muffin and started eating it.

Flashback: Workshop

Pius took his time reading over the blueprints. Then he realized where the components needed for her upgrade would come from.

"Alexia, the components needed for this shield upgrade match your gauntlets' mechanics. If you're doing what I think you're doing, and I'm pretty sure that you are, I want you to be sure about this. Your mother gave those to you."

When Pius saw Lucas and Remus head upstairs, he followed after them before continuing on to his workshop, nodding at Yun and Rufus if they crossed paths. He went downstairs towards the training room, where he entered last out of the three, maybe surprising them when he appeared behind them.

"Thanks for coming, guys," The Nobel greeted, shrugging off his longcoat and hefting Alexia's shield Pax. "I need your help with some combat testing."

Ayers headed for the door too. "I figger I can git my arms if'n it gits bad." He said. He kept talking. "Also, technically in this situation Baxter's trans, but like given hwut I done read about this yer still straight if'n y'all fuck'm cuz he got a lady body."

Glen got to his feet as he heard the explosions and roaring coming from outside. With Biorgadh in one hand and his bottle in the other, Glen joined Ayers and Jack. "Any bets on just how big the beastie out there's going tae be?"

The Vale Kitchen

Noiri wasn't really in the mood for shopping or a girl's night out. She sat at the table with a fiercely thoughtful expression on her face, isolated from the other girls with a wall of her own thoughts. She couldn't stop thinking about Ozpin. He had outsmarted her once, but she swore that it would only be once. She would get her revenge as soon as possible.

As she thought about this, she heard a familiar ringing from her pocket. As she checked her new message, the faintest smile appeared on her lips.

"Sorry, something came up for me to take care of. You girls have fun, alright?" Noiri said as she got up from the table and left.

Jack tossed his bottle into the air, grabbing it by the neck. "Doesn't matter how big it is." He strode out the door. "We got thi-"

Workshop C

Rufus looked around the shop, looking for two things he would need if he weren't going to just stand around and watch. Still better than sitting in that room talking about personal matters.

"I need polish and a window. Does this have those?" He asked the others.

Training Room

"Oh really?" Remus said with some interest. "What exactly are we testing here?" He continued as he drew Artemis Kai and locked them into sword staff mode.

Dorm

Medus let out a heavy sigh at having his evening disrupted and took a large swig of his rum. Then he made to get up, only to realize Ieria's head was still in his lap. He tapped the snake girl's head lightly. "Hey, sweetie. Need you to move so we can go kick ass."

Flashback: Workshop

Alexia nodded, resolute. "I've talked to my mother as well. We agreed that it's far better for me to use something I'm used to rather than change my fighting style."

The Dudes

They would see Port, his weapon hefted and a furious expression on his face.

He saw them and he grinned. "Ah, lads! Perfect timing! I need your help!"

Flashback: Workshop

"Alright, if you say so, Alexia," Pius replied, preparing the table for his new task. "Now then, let's get to work."

"This," The Nobel replied as he hefted Alexia's Pax on his right arm. "is what we're testing. Alexia wanted me to make some upgrades to Pax using her Goldflame gauntlets, and now I'm testing its new capabilities so she can be assured of its safety." He turned his gaze from the shield to his classmates.

"Now, are you ready to begin?"

Training Room

Remus nodded as he spin his twin-sided blade in a few fancy twirls before coming to a rest with it behind him in his side stance. "Whenever you're ready Pius."

Training Room

"Alright, then." Pius moved so that he was on the opposite side of the room from Remus and Lucas. "A question needs to be answered before we can begin the first test. So, how many Dust types do you two have at your disposal?"

Testing

"...Ice dust," Lucas muttered. He typically kept to one type of Dust mixture to prevent unintentional mix-ups during a fight. And for some reason, the dust he chose was ice.

Maybe because you see yourself as like the ice...

Training Room

Remus stopped and thought. "That... Is kind of a difficult question Pius..." Remus set his weapon down on the ground before sitting down and looking into his quiver, rummaging through it looking at the various arrows. "Ice... Ice trail... Explosive... Incendiary... Sleeping... Armor Piercing... Any others?" He muttered to himself as he continued looking through. "Bout 6 I guess?"

Training Room

"Hm," Pius muttered to himself about Lucas' and Remus' lacking arsenals in comparison to his own. "You two should expand your arsenals a bit, especially you, Lucas. Ice Dust can only be so versatile."

"But, in any case, I only need one for the first test." The Nobel hefted the shield up to cover his body. "Fire your ice Dust arrows at Pax."

Workshop C

Yun grabbed a can of polish and placed it on a nearby table, eyes never leaving his work.

"The windows are on that side" he said, pointing to the right side of the workshop.

Griffball

"Ah swears, Sarge better get MVP. Who's gonna be his competition? Fuckin' Church?" Noa grumbled. "Boy'd be better off tuckin' and dressin' up like a lady with how he plays."

Workshop C

Rufus disconnected Sanguis Aspernor from the vorpal sword and extended the blade to the length of a bastard sword. Finding a cloth, opening the polish, he began to care for his blade. Then, once that length was nice and shiny, he moved over to the window, opened it up, and extended the blade another sword's length further, propping it on the window sill.
