Works for me.
I hate that first panel. Way too busy.
Just the second would work better for me.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Second doesn't work without the context of the first (which I don't think is all that busy, anyway).
Is there a larger version of the image? Something about the resizing seems a bit off to me; I wanna give it a stab. I could be totally off-base, but I think I have to try it to know.

Moon◊Agree, that first panel is way too busy for its size.
2nd panel is busy too but it could work if there is no other option.
I've done my best with the resizing, but the original picture wasn't of terribly high quality, I guess. It isn't too artifacted at least, but it's probably possible to find a better-quality scan.
Either panel alone works for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan you provide a link to the source? Or if you get a foreign one, I can add the text.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I used a download of the Engligh version of the comic. I could find several instances of the first panel by googling, but not the second panel. You may have more luck finding the pictures in French.
The suggestion is good, although I think it works with just one panel (whichever is fine).
I think first alone works, the second alone lacks context.
Second image alone; it allows to make a bit bigger:
How so? The main point of the trope is that the character injures his feet and it's Played for Laughs. Objects falling on the person's foot may be one of the reason for the Amusing Injuries, but not the necessary criteria.
Good one.

No, I'm going to have to agree, I really don't think this works without the context of the first panel. I'm left thinking about the "why/how?" too much.
Moon◊Works just fine on its own. Don't see how it doesn't.
Check out my fanfiction! We don't need an image with text. [1]◊

Clock is set.
Second image of the comic works fine without context. He's clearly holding his foot in pain.
The description of the trope seems to put the importance on the reaction rather than the cause, so using the second panel alone may actually be better, since it de-emphasizes the cause of the injury. It seems like a solid illustration.
Can Anyone get a good image of the bloody feet from Die Hard? The example stands out in my head but no luck on image search.
Edit: never mind, suggestion captures the trope as described way better. Sorry for not reading :P

I'm gonna re-clock this one since the discussion's kinda all over the place. I can live with the second panel by itself, although I lean toward using both...crowner?
Seems like the best way to organise the discussion.
Check out my fanfiction!Well, this went nowhere. Since this is a subpaged trope, I've put the second panel on the Comic Book subpage and tagged it. Locking up.
Agony of the Feet is missing an illustration, so my first thought was this one. I had to look for the English version on the Web. I could have just added it, but I want to make sure to quality is acceptable. If you feel to captions are too small, the second panel alone can be used instead.
