Daxamites? Interesting move.
Watch out for lead, though. Aren't bullets made of lead? Is lead a Weak Sauce Weakness or what?
It does seem like a significant question when discussing a group of characters who are most famous for their immunity to bullets.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Yeah, that's the cruel irony of the Daxamites. They have all the powers of Kryptonians and Kryptonite doesn't exist. But lead deathly poisonous. It's basically their Kryptonite.
My various fanfics. So they'll probably just die from drinking tap water then....
Also, traditionally speaking anyway, the effects of lead on a Daxamite are permanent, whereas, unless a Krytonian has had prolonged exposure to Krytonite to the point of death, a Kryptonian will quickly recover from Kryptonite exposure once the Kryptonite is removed. Eventually, though, a serum was developed that could treat the lead poisoning and make the Daxamite in question immune to lead, so long as he or she kept taking the serum regularly.
The way Kryptonite was originally portrayed on the Superman radio show, it could not kill him in and of itself. It robbed him of his strength and made him disoriented, and prolonged exposure would put him in a coma, where he ran the risk of starving to death.

@math I think Kara meeting an alternate universe version of herself who runs her own company and is a member of the JSA could have been interesting and there might still be a possibility for PG to show up. Plus the differing personalities could help show more of Melissa's range.
And they don't need to include the boob window.
I haven't mentioned the boob window. The topic just keeps coming up
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.(part 3)
They could have just ripped her shirt once during a fight. Struth, once and I'd be satisfied!.
An older version of Kara would be so baller. Better powers, more wisdom, less responsibility, and when she and Kara inevitably recognize each other's strengths, a stronger sisterly bond than Alex "created for the show" Danvers. We could have had twin episodes. Twin episodes!
But alas, What Could Have Been. We'll have much stronger storylines with Mr. Can't Live In Portland and his battles with James over Kara's affections.
I don't even hate Mon-El, I'm just mad it wasn't PG. :(

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Not sure how much of a "sisterly bond" you can have with someone who is literally yourself from another dimension, let alone have it be stronger than the one with your own adopted sibling who's literally known you since you were kids.
Have the behind the scenes pics of Superman been posted already?
Guest starring was all I expected.
guess my hopes and dreams of seeing more of Carter are dashed. he was a cute kid.
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersIt's like they get the second best of everything.
You lost!Lena Luthor makes since for Supergirl.
Also the actress is great.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAw, no Tess Mercer?
But seriously, Lena Luthor. Should be interesting.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Oh wow Katie Mc Grath in Season 2? Not that there was any doubt but there is no way I won't be watching this season.
To be honest I was thinking the same thing.

And there was a great disturbance in the force, as if thousands of fans started writing femslash. Oh. My. Goddess. This is the one thing that might just knock Kara/Cat off the throne as the main ship ;-)
.. Also, on a less meta note, Katie Mcgrath is wonderful, and I am highly excited to see her in a series I actually like.
Annoyance about them referring to it as "Kryptonese" aside (I'm pretty sure they only made that mistake in the first episode, though admittedly they haven't encountered much Kryptonian writing since), that is awesome. I would love for her to have a conversation in Kryptonian at some point and half the subtitles are censored because she swears like a sailor.
And then Superman just kinda leans over to her. "Watch your language young lady."
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?
Not really seeing why she would have been interesting to have on the show besides 'would be cool if.' With Mon-El I can at least see a kind of 'Kara learning more about the universe' thing.
