Sort of random bump: Has anyone seen Video Game High School? Because Johanna Braddy looks and sounds exactly like Melissa Benoist. I had to check three times to make sure they're not the same person. Seriously, it's not just me,◊ right?◊

I can see the similarities, but I wouldn't say spitting image.

Neither would I.

I can see it in hindsight. But it's been ages since I watched VGHS so I didn't really make the connection myself.

Don't you are probalby fine. Whenever I see a list of celebrities that "could be twins" there are a few that clearly look different to me. And its different pairs for other people.

From what I've figured, everyone notices different facial traits more prominently (thus beauty is in the eye of the beholder). Apparently Johanna Braddy Melissa Benoist have those facial marks in common that you notice most, therefore they look similar to you.

Maybe I'm wrong though, I'm not a scientist (I don't even play one on TV).

First look at Superman.

I like the suit, but his face is odd.

Not the Superman face I was expecting, but it's not bad looking.

I think the angle makes his head look a little odd. I'm sure he'll look better in motion.

He's missing the hair curl that he had as a baby. :hmm

Looks like chinese bootleg Man of Steelman.

Chris Wood is going to be playing the character in the pod at the end of season 1, Mon-El. Definitely a new addition to the Love Dodecahedron.

They introduced that joker instead of Kara Zor-L?

Oh, he's the guy who played Derek in Teen Wolf. Although I think he looks like The Author from Once Upon a Time in that picture.

It's a seriously bad shot of him to be the first image we see of him in costume. The way his hair is styled makes his head look pointed, and he looks like he's hanging from a hook; at least the "s" looks right. I haven't really liked any of the promotional photos they've done for this series. The first one they did of Supergirl in costume made her look near-sighted and slouchy.

First though on seeing the costume, the belt clashes with the suit because it looks almost like a utility belt. The way the cape attaches to the suit also looks odd, making it go halfway between a cape and a cloak. A few other things look off like the boots, but I think it's more a problem with the pose: his feet are both pointing in one direction (rather than a slight offset angle), his chest in another direction and his face towards the camera. A better angle and pose may make all the difference. I do like the texture and segmented layers, making it feel like a crafted suit and not a onesie.

I'm just hoping that he's not there for the writers to finagle more quips about Kara being "better" than him in there, like the episode where James said she was, quote, "WAY faster."

There's like literally no better opportunity to put her in a live-action anything. She's not going to be in Justice League unless they use the other one that nobody liked.

They could've just given her a white version of Kara's suit if that's too risque or too immature or what have you.

Now Kara's reaction was "oh my goodness, the handsome teenage boy from Teen Wolf!? Shock! Awe! If we can't afford Calista Flockhart anymore, how on earth can we afford him!?"
