It feels like GL should, but Flash already called dibs on Hal Jordan.
Earth 37 sounds like it has Superman, Batman, J'onn, and nothing else whatsoever.
My various fanfics.Which Green Lantern? There's over 7000 of them.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! If Earth 1 has Hal Jordan, then that lets John, Guy, Kyle, and I guess now Baz and Jessica for Kara's Earth.
Plenty of Lanterns to go around I figure.
One Strip! One Strip!I feel like Supergirl would called dibs on Jessica if they were going to use any of them.
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersThe Supergirl Earth actually seems like most of the superheroes are aliens (Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter) or powerless vigilantes (Batman, Guardian). Green Lanterns might fit right in, since they get their powers from an alien power source.
Honestly, though, the character I want to see is Ultra the Multi-Alien.
(2) Ditto.
My issue with those other Lanterns is that they aren't John Stewart. John Stewart is the only Green Lantern I respect.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That's a funny way of spelling Kyle Rayner. Aka the Torchbearer.
My various fanfics. They are all ok.
Even Hal, who I know a lot of people hate for one reason or another, some justified, some not.
It all depends on how they are written. John is awesome now because Justice League got their hands on him and beefed up his cred a bit.
It doesn't matter who they use, as long as they do it well, and with alternate universes at play, they could easily use all of them.
One Strip! One Strip!Wait, are you saying a character's comic backstory and fanbase doesn't matter, only how well their portrayal is written and executed?
That's...
Sometimes, we need a little madness.
One Strip! One Strip! The Lanterns should appear in more things, period.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyEspecially Ch'p.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Jessica Cruz and Dex-Starr

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I was responding to the "Lanterns should appear in more things" and assumed it was a general all lanterns not just green lanterns, but didn't clarify what post I was responding to, whoops. Yeah, little rage kitty. I love him.

Oh hey, now I remember her.
So I saw this post on Tumblr. And it reminded me about Alex in the early season 2 episodes with Maggie.
On that very first episode with the bar Alex slams one of the aliens in the bar to the ground for some information, I can't quite recall but I think she did it another time as well. Not sure if that was also in the bar.
I remember being very surprised that didn't end up getting her kicked out or banned, considering that was her very first time there.
Did anyone else find that a little bit odd?
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobThat was her second time in the bar and I'm guessing it got a pass because she was looking for Maggie who was apparently a regular there. Realistically that was a huge no-no but personally, I think it would be odd for a black-ops agent to face consequences for excessive violence or property damage in pursuit of information. This is TV

the show brings up tons of things like this that they'll never address again. I'm a little disappointed but my being disappointed that they refuse to discuss the implications of character actions won't change anything.

My own interpretation is extremely cynical, and probably not what the writers intended.
The aliens are afraid of the police. Specifically, Maggie.
Alex was with Maggie when she decided to assault a random alien for information. But Maggie sat back and did nothing because she also wanted the information. Maggie essentially engaged in police brutality by proxy by letting Alex do the dirty work to get the information she wanted.
If the aliens running the bar kick Alex out, they run the risk of ticking Maggie off. And if Maggie gets ticked off, it would be very easy for her to get the NCPD to put pressure on the alien bar and its patrons. Maggie probably wouldn't actually retaliate against them, but the aliens don't know that. All they know is that Maggie is fine with them getting assaulted. (And the show indicates that aliens don't have any rights before the Alien Amnesty Act, so good luck getting other police officers to help them when the "pro-alien" cop is against them.)
Almost certainly not what the writers intended, but it makes perfect sense to me given what the writers have shown. they can tell us anything they want, but what they've shown supports your read of it. especially when you add in the context of the Master Jailer who was running around killing aliens who'd been at fort rozz (even if their crimes were non-violent and they'd more than served their time) and no law enforcement really caring too much....

Who thinks Green Lantern should appear in Supergirl?
