Chesnaught, Tropius, Sceptile, and Virizion.
I am the Tippy Toe Zombie I like to Limbo Often I fall on people's headsI voted Bulbasaur, Exeggcute, Sceptile, Nuzleaf (mistakenly instead of Shiftry, who I realized after the fact was the Pokemon I meant to vote for), and Surperior.
Shiftry is a tengu so he's perfect for it. I voted Tangrowth, simisage, lilligant, and Cacturne. Almost voted Chesnaugt.
Bug type time. Sceptile won Grass, with Chesnaught, Breloom, Shiftry, and Ludicolo following.
Voted for Scolipede, Karrablast, Escavelier and Galvantula.
Scyther, Leavanny, Scolipede, Accelgor and Genesect.
Scizor, Escavalier, Accelgor and Ledian.
First time doing this voting thing.
- Scyther, because it's more Yoshimitsu than Scizor. At least to me.
- Ledian, because it was the first bug to learn a punch move naturally...well, Ledyba was, but, you know, it's weaker.
- Heracross, because it would be a crime if it didn't appear.
- Ninjask, Because Fragile Speedster.
- Volcarona, because it's a monster-shaped SNK boss. Like True Ogre, Jinpachi, and Azazel.

Ah, Ledian. The single most useless Pokemon I ever trained. I like Ledian, but damn does it suck.
Pinsir, Ledian, Kriketune, Volcarona, and a derp vote (Shedinja, rather than the more obvious picks).
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI voted Pinsir (how could I not?), Scyther, Ninjask, Volcarona, and Genesect.
It makes me very, very happy to see that Pinsir ranks among the top 5.
I'm curious, though, as to whether they have a plan for if both Scyther and Scizor manage to make the top 5, because it just seems redundant to have two have two members of the same line that are that much alike both in the roster. It's not really anything like what it would be to have both Magikarp and Gyarados in there.
I picked Ledian (it needs more love and an appearance in which it's not terrible, plus I actually really like its design and it's actually kind of important for Gamefreak and I'm confused by how little they care about it?), Leavanny (fifth gen Grass-type love), Scolipede (Abaddon hungers for flesh), Crustle (no one will understand how much I love Crustle) aaaand... Vivillon because I was left with a choice and I had to pick ONE of the lepidopterans.
Scolipede could totally work as a big, fat, centipede version of the bears. Lots of rolling moves and tossing people miles with its horns. It and Beedrill got my vote.
Scyther and Heracross are winning by a longshot. Can't even really be mad.
I'd rather have my top bugs win, of course, but Scyther's play style could only be something fairly different. Heracross a little less so but whatever.
Ledian could be a really cool flying boxer, which just occurred to me now.
While I can't say I'm surprised that Scyther and Scizor are splitting the lead, I can't at all say I'd be happy to see both of them make it in.
Either I'm seeing the poll wrong or it's Scizor and Heracross tied, with Scyther being second behind them.
Scizor, Heracross, Shedinja (Joke Character HO!) Leavanny and...Beautifly.

So, that makes the average troper a demographic target.
Scizor/Scyther and Heracross are by far the best options.

As someone who wanted a Pokemon fighting game since Red and Blue, it feels like that he can read my mind.
I do like the sound of that. A Pokemon fighting game has always seemed like a no-brainer to me. Totally hype for this.
They've said something to this effect already. Kind of wish we'd get some development news or a new character reveal already.
I'm betting they're waiting til the hype from ORAS and Smash Bros calms down a bit first, though

Chesnaught, Roserade and Carnivine ftw.
The good thing about Pokken is that it might increase the popularity of Pokemon that have been forgotten or overshadowed. Carnivine has such a cool design, but nobody really pays attention to it.
