-Facepalms- I was wondering how Robert Picardo figured in. then I realized he's the one who played the inventor, isn't he?
Yeah, he made the chip that made the Commando Elite go berserk.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThe chip controlled both sides. The others just weren't programmed for killing.
I just like to think that Cave Johnson really gets around

Going by that logic, then the Computer Chips for the Animatrons are made with Australium and where manufactured in Black Mesa Research Facilities. With Cave Johnson as Financier...

"We're home, Chewie."Hey, CJ got his mitts in Bastion, so why not "in a parallel universe in which keeping a door closed uses electricity" (jk and I love that Steam review).
...Let us in...... so I finally decided to buy the game... but I'm still too much of a wimp to play it yet D:
I do like the SFW fanart that is coming from this game though.
EDIT: ... I don't get the association between Foxy and knots though :/

Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/The volume of fanwork this game has produced is kind of amazing, especially considering it's just barely a month old. Not just the fanart, but the fan theories, the voicework, the shipping, the clashing headcanons...
I think a large part of it comes from the fun of 'filling in the blanks', so to speak. The four animatronics don't really display all that much personality in the game, aside from how they behave/ what their triggers are. So it's up to the player to imagine what their personalities are, and each player walks away with a different conception of what they're like. It's fascinating to see what people come up with, in that regard.
In fact, after watching some LP footage and immersing myself in the fandom (I haven't gotten around to playing the game itself yet)... I think Chica is kind of adorable. Yeah, I know that's weird, considering she looks like this◊, but I definitely get the impression that she's the most childlike/ naive of the group. She's usually not as aggressive as the other three, half the time she's just hanging out in the kitchen snacking on what I can only assume to be pizza, and even after you slam the door in her face she'll just stand there outside your window for the longest time before taking the hint. Like a lost puppy, almost.
I'm not sure how much of this comes from her canon portrayal and how much comes from her fanon portrayal, but make of it what you will.
I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.you thought it was nothing

Here's a thing I did in Garry's Mod. Some people might get a kick out of it.
That goes well with this for some reason.

I just heard the Toreador March in Tom & Jerry without expecting it and freaked out. I mean, I like that song when I'm LOOKING FOR it, but...
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI actually had the opposite experience. I've seen Carmen before, so when I heard Freddy's jingle I immediately recognized it as the Toreador song. In a weird way, the fact that I knew the song kind of acted as Nightmare Retardant, if that makes sense.
I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.Have a beta Gmod map.
Maybe they'll be less scary after you shoot one with a Combine dark matter ball.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatAh, Golden Freddie, Pants shittingly terrifying if found unspoiled. rather boring obvious warning when figured out.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.@317: Yeah, it's a beautiful song in its intended context. In its intended context. But for me, not so much when it comes out of nowhere.
When I'm looking for it on its own on purpose and nobody will shut up about FNAF in the comments, though, that's when the connection gets a bit annoying.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerLoving the comments that have been appearing on Steam about this game now.
To quote one:
'There is no God.
Only Freddy.'
Truer words have never been spoken
I really hate that song now since Freddy had his way with it. It just emits fear and dread for me and many players now.
Idk, first time I witnessed him, I ended up throwing my mouse across my room in fright. That reaction might still not happen, but I still get shivers down my spine even when I am expecting him and he appears.

Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/I am a wimp. I am a cowardly, weak creature of barely-sustainable bones and flesh so quivering-ready that were I to be served as dinner, my own trembling would serve to tenderize my flesh.
With that said and admitted, I looked up on youtube the scares and sounds and animations, because I am curious but not brave enough to actually play the game. If anything, the noises are more loud than scary. Just. Loud.
Also it is not prolly the robotics. Just the spirits, or the ZOMBIE GOASTS.

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesEither way, Ghostbusters would handle this place in a snap. Even if it's rampaging robots, they'd probably atomize them.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great
Or, you know, ghosts.
