Hey, you know that really famous game going around right now? That dungeon crawler type thing? I know everyone on TV Tropes loves it! Well, this topic is to discuss it, so have at it!

Anyway, I really liked that game, especially the part with the tree.

Oh yes! I love the game. It's so awesome. Graphics are pretty cool. And that one guy!

I love how he was obliviously helping the bad guys with their evil plot the entire time. That was ingenious!

I liked the part where the bear ate the dynamite.

We all just lost the ga- No, not that one.

I love the fact that there is a supercool weapon that you can obtain in the first dungeon, but it's bloody hard to figure out how.

Weird as this may sound I never played the game. Any tips for enjoying it?

Make sure that you've gathered all the crystals in the beginning areas before you complete the second dungeon; you'll understand why later. There's also a point about three-quarters of the way through where you get locked out all of the quests in the city (you'll know what I'm talking about), so make sure you've finished them all before then.

But don't worry, if you don't get them all, you can try again on the New Game+

The first boss was epic man. That building fight with you inside and the boss attacking you from outside.

Nah man, the penultimate boss was the best. Though I may just be being partial since he's like my favorite character.

I thought that part with the magical boat was kind of out of place though. What was going on there?

Okay, after playing the first few hours, here's my thoughts so far:

Scale of -10 to 10 (-10=So Bad, It's Good, 0=So Bad Its Horrible, 10=So Cool Its Awesome): 7.

Favorite Part: I'd like to by a baronship.

Least favorite part: That 6th f***ing crystal!

Yeah, my least favorite part was that part in the final dungeon when those monsters you fought as minibosses start appearing as normal enemies...

Really? The final boss was far worse. Maybe it's cause I did a daredevil run the whole way through, but the final boss summoned every single boss at once to fight me! Is that nuts or what?

Oh yeah, I heard it does that if you take too long.

It only ever sent the first few bosses at me.

What about the one boss with chainsaw hands?

I got stuck on that boss, until I figured out how to use the chainsaws against him.

What did you guys think of the graphics? I thought they were excellent, especially in that scene where you obtain the first shield...

The graphics were amazing. So realistic!

The graphics were pretty great. I usually don't pay much attention to that though, I tend to care more about gameplay and storyline.

Though I must admit, the opening animation looks amazing.

To me, they so far are hit and miss. On one hand, the crystals are well animated, and the people's lip movements are fairly accurate. On die andere hand the animals were rather uncanny, and the grass was a bit conspicuous.

Well, you have a point about the animals. I nearly couldn't sleep when I first saw that attack dog, it just looked so creepy.

Actually, it's been a while since I last played this game, maybe I should give it another go...
