The previous thread clocked out. I'd be fine with pulling the current for not being illustrative...undecided on the suggestion.
I think the suggestion is at least an improvement. Probably good enough to put on the page.
Current is pullable anyway, though.
Check out my fanfiction! The caption in the suggested image is too long for my liking, but it could work.
I guess the suggestion is good. The current doesn't make sense.
Current is JAFAAC, suggestion is uninteresting.
Pull the current. Suggestion would be good if it were wider. The caption is creepin' down way too far.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRe-checking the previous discussion thread, I think the Don Quixote suggestion is better than the one in this OP.
Could you repost it here? The more alternatives, the better.
I like the idea of a self-demonstrating image/caption combo though. OP's suggestion is fine IMO, but if people think it's too wordy or visually unappealing or anything there are a whole lot of other ways to execute the same concept. Just an example:

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish. I don't get it.
In this one: it's pretty clear that only the first panel is the truth.
I found 11 more clear than 12. She's certainly not wearing a blue sweater.
Check out my fanfiction!11 works with the caption. 12 I am not sure what I am looking at.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe combo in 11 works for me pending something else. I think I get 12 but I don't think it's quite as effective.
11 though I like 12 for an unreliable illustrator. Also wasn't meaning to provide an Example example, just illustrating a point.
11 is funny. I don't get what I'm seeing in 12 either.
I think what's happening in 12 is Cartman, dressed as The Coon, is beating up a girl while the guy tries to pull him off her and the women look on, but in his mind the girl is a large, mean adversary and the adults are cheering him on.
A few more votes for the 11 image-caption combo and we can roll with that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI suppose 11's better than nothing.
Decided to do a scan of the whole page instead of the relevant panels, but if people like it, I'm sure we could find a better quality image. Pic◊ For those curious, I was thinking of either the two lower left hand panels or the top and middle one.

Seeing as I have not yet figured out a way to make Photobucket images work, I'll have to reserve judgment on that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman^^ Robotic talking heads.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. So, my suggestion is no good? It would probably work better as a quote than anything else I'm guessing. :/
Not a very good image.

Current.◊ It's not even worth moving to UnreliableNarrator.Webcomics, and seeing as the page is at 13294 in-links, the article shouldn't be blank.
I'm thinking it'll need both a contradictory image and caption to work, but the number of subpages may mean making an image just for the page. Not sure if it could simply be self-demonstrating either, like:With unparalleled line-craft that could be described as the reinvention of illustration as an art form, the artist fully depicted every detail of the scene; from the terrier's eartips to the petals of a lone poppy, and the stunning backdrop of a sunny white sand beach.
