A bus stop, post office, off-licence, Dominoes, Tesco's and a hairdresser. Pretty sweet.
A Waitrose supermarket, a butcher's, a fishmonger and a tea merchant.
Oh, and several newsagents many of which stock lots of cigars.
"Did you expect somebody else?"@Longcoat Lucky, though I'm sure you had that in mind.
@Brahani So is mine it's just ridiculously spaced out, how else do you think all the deer get to sleep if we didn't have long stretches of forest, probably are yards given the deer
A Tesco with several restaurants in it, some other restaurants outside, a car service centre, 2 furniture emporiums, a mall, a Chevrolet dealership, a pharmacy and a 7-Eleven.
Everything but the mall is fairly close together, although not getting run over by the horrible drivers in this part of the world, the risk of getting mugged or being attacked by the stray dogs in the area tends to be a hurdle.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotNone, I live in the middle of nowhere.
Your Honor...Fields, trees, hills, and sometimes bullets depending on who owns said fields, trees, and hills.
Bunch of stores, pizza place, the subway, Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park, Fort Greene Park, Barclays Center, Atlantic Terminal...

Schild und Schwert der ParteiWhy're you moving to Denmark?
Talking of sore feet - guess what idiot decided to walk most of the way from Glasgow to Paisley the long way round? Yeah, me.
Oh my knee, oh my footsies!
Still, at least it wasn't raining.
Work, sadly. Can't wait though.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiI thought running was for folks who can't afford bikes?
Seriously, good luck in Denmark. I have heard good things about the Danish people as a whole.
I"m going to assume that by "walking distance" you mean "convenient walking distance," so...
Less than 30 minutes:
- A Sherwin-Williams (for non-Americans: a national chain of paint stores)
- Other apartment buildings
- A school
- A gas station
Less than an hour:
- A bunch of reatil chain stores
- A bunch of chain restaurants
- The post office
- My dad's place
- A video rental store
Two parks, an outdoor pool, a mall, two cheap shawarma (or "vulgar schworm") joints, three pizzerias or thereabouts, a sushi place, a decent Asian bistro, three large convenience stores, a pharmacy, a library, lots of stuff, and that's only in a radius I could traverse by walking for fifteen minutes tops. But since I pretty much live downtown, there's a lot of stuff around, and mass transit gets me where I need to go farther than that.
