It may be an interesting idea, but it's not part of our mission. Leave that to the dedicated sites for those games. We're more interested in tropes and stuff related to them.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Uh, yeah, I don't agree either. They aren't on-mission enough to get subpages here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAh, I didn't mean something like imfdb, more like a tab to place stuff like Sword And Board, Short-Range Shotgun, Cold Sniper, Revolvers Are Just Better, etc. so that they're more consolidated, but if the same reasoning stands I can completely understand.
"That wizard came from the moon!"So, listing tropes by topic? Seems like a thematic sorting like it has been discussed in this discussion and which I oppose for the same reasons.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso, enumerating each time a sword is used in a work is the very definition of Zero Context Example.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The number of times a trope is used with a weapon is actually very small, comparatively.
I'd look for about twenty tropes before even suggesting a weapon (or other prop) to have its own Character folder. I can't imagine how many tropes I'd look for before proposing a separate namespace for tropes about props.

You know what would be nice to have on Trope articles? Weapon sub-pages. A page dedicated to the weapons, gear, and maybe even armor within the game. Has this ever been considered? Could even have a cute little sword and board picture for the clickybits. If this isn't the right place for this kind of thing, please let me know, but I think it might help things stay nice and organized. Thank you for your consideration!
