Portmanteau Couple Name seems like it should be trivia or maybe YMMV.
It's a Shipping sub-trope (and Shipping itself is a YMMV) and is really just an invitation for people to produce long lists of pointless names without any other content, and barely any context beyond that, in some cases, involving characters that have never met or interacted before.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
