Suggestion: Gold And White Are Divine

Honestly, I don't really care about editing images. The purpose is to illustrate a trope, not to accurately represent whatever it is the image comes from.

Here's the Goddess Hylia. Though we'd need the artist's permission since it's watermarked.

What about Tyrael◊ from Diablo?

27 is a bit blue for me. 29 is good although foggy. 31 is also good. 34 looks brown more than anything.

Re: 34: Seems like gold to me. Certainly more so than the more-or-less pure yellow shade that most of the other suggestions have been sporting.

Not surprised it looks a little brown since gold is defined as a yellow-brown colour.

1.1 is the current image. Do you mean 17.1? Or is "the current is better than anything that's been suggested" the intended meaning?

Oh blah, sorry, I mentally placed your suggestion as 1.1 rather than 1.2. Kosmos is nice, but she has this faint shade of green that kinda puts her out of the running for me. So yes, the standing should have read 17.1 > 27.1 > 5.1

If the green's such a sticking point, it's really not that hard to fix.

That's an improvement. In other news, the artist of the Hylia pic said it would be okay to use his image. So the watermark on that won't be an issue.

^^ It is not a sticking point. I don't think that image is good because she looks to me like a normal mortal, not because of the color. Glad that's not an issue now, though, because it was distracting from the real ones. (IMO, all the suggestions in this thread—even the bad ones—are an improvement to the current image.) Crowner?

*shrug* I posted having only looked at the suggestions. I've only now read through the topic, the green tint was apparently a thing for a few others as well. Sans green Kosmos is pretty good, but in a sentence I never thought I'd use directed at a non-rapper: it could use more bling.

This is ready to call. The new pic's up and the tag's adjusted. I think we can do better on the caption, but I've no ideas right now.

Yeah, it's hard to figure out what would be a good one. The current isn't bad, just not terribly interesting.
