Was the cultural festival also skimmed through in the LN? It was disappointing enough to wait this long for subs but I don't even to get to see the Game of Life in action.

Well, at least the day is once again saved by SCIENCE.

Suddenly, the translation stopped. I wonder why...
Apparently, they couldn't translate it even if they wanted to but I guess being untranslated was the point. I think I understood the girl's question though. She was probably asking if she looked pretty without glasses

Yes, I know that was the joke. It was an ironic comment.

[up][up]I find it rather normal for being somewhat not normal. Kind of just past the edge of normal.

Episode 11. In which they plan for assault.

She's harsh but fair. Or maybe not so far as just harsh with a tiny bit of compassion. Or manipulative instinct.

Tee-hee. They're out of cash. And then she quickly walks out.

Yeah, they have teamwork. Just not with Ayaka. She's more the type to send goons to work for her, willingly or not.

I like Rino's look while the ditzes are trying to have a coherent discussion.

Suddenly, pajama party.

Still people with a physical porn stash. He's a little more creative than usual, but far behind some of the things I've heard people use to hide it in digital media.

Rino, putting the Shiny in the Scary Glasses.

She's the one preventing him from looking? She's the one more perverted than him. Also, as usual, no one actually has any right in him being angry for looking.

Ikumi isn't even allowed to be wrong. Well, she's wrong, but she's not allowed to go as far as actually be wrong.

I'd be quiet too. I'd bet on anyone else in the room.

Rino says what everyone's thinking.

Why would they go with reading as a hobby? It's bog-standardly dull.

An assassin probably isn't the right word. But maybe she'd be better at that.

Episode 12: Koganen is the best hero and so is his true identity, Akamatsu. Meanwhile, Yandere SCIENCE is scary and Student Council President is still an evil bitch

Episode 12. In which Ikumi is in a sticky situation.

That's some random bounce. And she naturally asssumes that's why he's filming in the first place.

Rino got to do Science! Of course she's happy about it, no matter its application. I wonder if she'd reconsider if she'd known it was going to be used on her too.

Someone's really good at talking about stuff that doesn't make sense to anyone else.

That's incredibly wooden even for just reading an an instruction manual out loud.

Hey, that's a Swedish football player. Emi gets a penalty for not recognising him.

I think those two are better "actors" than Ikumi.

He took it upon himself to put it in a safe location. Sure. Good spot, though.

Rino fights like a nerd.

She's totally fine. And I maintain that any of the other girls would've done great in that competition.

She just mentioned expensive snacks, and it takes them that long to figure out what the sound of her munching on something is?

One of them is excited at her find in the drawer.

I must say, it's rare to see Ayaka making those worried and otherwise less than confident expressions.

Ikumi's in danger! Who ya gonna call?

He's rather tall in that costume.

He pays attention to what they say. He even got the numbers right. I wonder if he pays special attention to what she says?

That bottle sure holds a lot.

One of them is very happy. One of them is not quite as happy. And that's a good time and use for exact numbers.

They should just go out already.

Rino, Fuu, and Ikumi need to work on their poker faces.

So what will they do instead?

Episode 13. In which there's a contest of beauty.

Count on her to have something up her sleeve.

A little bit slow on the uptake, methinks. There's no chance this can backfire.

That's about what I expected to happen.

And then they go back to what they do best. Answering questions.

Not even the speech bubble can contain the strength of Rino's arguments.

Hey, her again. And she's on a little bit different track this time. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

That's one vindictive prez...

What's up with that commercial? It's even stranger than the usual stuff.

Beware the Nice Ones. Especially when they're smart about what they're doing.

How did that happen, and what does that have to do with the tickets she's gathered? Ayaka sure is hard to figure out.

She will strip at the drop of a skirt. Her skirt.

Good Imagine Spot. Yuuki certainly thought so.

That's a worthy winner. I support her.

They're asking him who he gave his ticket to. And he doesn't want to answer. Well, just look around, and the answer should be obvious.

Everyone roots for them. That's nice to see.

I really enjoyed this series, despite the delays.

Me too. In fact I think the delays helped me appreciate the whole thing more really, like Girls und Panzer and Madoka even if it pales in comparison to the two.

Honetly, I'd say this one's better than those two.

Madoka had a few great moments, but I think it kind of fell under its own weight a little. It's an entirely different type of story, though, so it's hard to compare.

Girls und Panzer wasn't really more than cute girls fighting in tanks to me. It had tank goodness, but didn't really shine much.

Never saw the tank girls. Madoka is so different I don't think there is a whole lot of point in a comparison. Just different genera's really. Manga/DFrag would probably be a good comp for this.

I would agree that this was pretty good. Kinda hilarious with them all shipping at the end there, and nice to see.

Token-Guy-Kun was actually pretty decent. While he was mostly there to be the Only Sane Man, he did have his moments where he did stuff (like the Ikumi save last episode), which was kinda nice to see.

[up][up] It would be most appropriate to say that Jinsei has the better characters, which makes sense because both Madoka was about the plot and Panzer was about the, well, panzer. D-frag's also too wacky; If I had to pick a similar show, it'd be GJ-bu.

Anyway, episode 13. Nice job Akamatsu.

Yeah, GJ-bu is rather similar. The only real complaint I have about that one is the usual sexism that the guy is always wrong if something happens. And it's more sedate than this one.

Real winner is SCIENCE and Akamatsu is a true hero. It would have been funnier if he was Koganen while asking for votes

I actually would have preferred if they spent the whole cour just answering questions instead of this student council plot. Oh well, definitely an enjoyable series and needs more love... rather, needs more subs
