: Not an surprising development at all.
Chapter 67 is released in Japanese; looks like it's about Hori and his leg fetish.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaHm. Last couple chapters have been winners, but this was rather dull.

I have never agreed more with the translator's notes. Yes, Hori, it's FUCKING RIGHT THERE. RIGHT. THERE.
Let's see what we have so far:
- Nozaki will never know about Chiyo's obvious crush on him
- Mikorin will never know that he's the heroine of Let's Love
- Waka will never know Lorelei's true identity
- And now Hori will never know about Kashima's perfect legs
The density is strong with this cast.
I was in such disbelief that Hori didn't notice what was right in front of him that I had to re-read the chapter to make sure I wasn't missing something.
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.I don't know whether it's good or bad that Kashima has such an impact, it makes Hori ignore his fetish.
Also that nobody bats an eye at the thought of Hori being gay.

Watched the first episode again...for like, what, fifth time now?
Man, I can't get over utterly delightful the opening soundtrack (as in, not the opening song) is.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Chapter 69 is a Ken-san chapter.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThe first person to translate Chapter 69 is from a different source.
(5 September, 2015): RhapsodyInBlue's version is is here.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI'm starting to feel my blood pressure temporarily shoot up every time Maeno appears on screen.
Hang in there, Ken-san.
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.Ken-san is very used to Maeno. That line is better off reserved to mangaka that works with him, sans Miyako.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaHoly shit Maeno! You know you're the worst editor when an author formerly under your care begs her current editor not to be handed back to you and shits her pants at the sight of you.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Maybe that's why Maeno is employed. Give mangakas a taste of Maeno, then change them to normal editors, with the vondition they will get returned to him if they laze around .
What about Miyako, in this case? She doesn't seem to mind at all.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaShe definitely minds. She's just a doormat.
Chapter 70 translated by Sirvorn, although I know many prefers RhapsodyInBlue.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaLast chapter has some rather awkward sentences, but this one is much better I think. Well, I read both translations anyway .
"Ping Pong is the sports of love"~
Nice choice of font for the cover.
Biggest surprise of the chapter was the members of the basketball team having the guts to ban Seo from the basketball game. Successfully, no less.
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.
Those are not the basketball team. Those are Chiyo and Yuzuki's mutual classmates.
I hope Romance Academy is not closing. The last time I saw a ball sports meet, it was because that school is closing and there isn't enough funding for a proper athletics meet.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThe day that happens will be the day Chiyo properly gets her confession across to Nozaki.
There's something insignificant written here, but because it's insignificant, you didn't read it.Nothing interesting to say, but I just want to say again how much I absolutely love this series. I've never genuinely enjoyed an anime/manga like this since Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
To be honest, I was actually on the verge of just losing interest in anime altogether, then I watched this anime (and Gundam Build Fighters) and my love of anime got revitalized.
......Wait, that's not a good thing at all!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Probably because Yen Press' manga is releasing tomorrow, Sentai Filmworks tweets a picture about their Nozaki-kun optical discs.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaAt least at the time I check a few minutes ago, Nozaki-kun Vol 1 by Yen Press is #1 in Teen/Young Adult Manga category◊ on Amazon, and #13 for manga in general.

Crunchyroll also used "Monthly Girls'", so a switch to the English title is perfectly warranted. Even though I prefer "Gekkan Shoujo" simply because that's how it was introduced to me. Via the TV Tropes article, no less.
Funny how Ken is worried that the bullying scenario will weaken Mamiko's characterization, even though it's a moot point since her entire character boils down to "SUZUKI-KUN!"
