Oh, my. That's good.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Uh, yeah, that is a good one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, it's funny.
Check out my fanfiction! It's a great picture, but I'd rather link to a work if possible.
Not sure why. The purpose of the image is to illustrate the trope, not to promote a work.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittySome people have preferences for images from works (this being a wiki about tropes in fiction) and/or images that can be sourced to a work page with a pothole.
Personally, these factors are fairly low in my "what makes a good image" criteria but other people weigh differently.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMy vote would be Use Unless Better Image Suggested.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMA good picture is a good picture, especially if it's funny. It doesn't matter I'd it's not from something.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. It being from a potholable work is on the level of all else being equal for me. And they very rarely are equal.
Check out my fanfiction!Love the picture. Doesn't even need a caption.
Edit, edit, edit, edit the wikiIf anything, the image title could work.
Check out my fanfiction!Again, Duck says what I would. All other things being equal, I'd pick an image from a work over one that isn't. All other thing are almost never completely equal.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Well, it does illustrate the trope well. Another

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. How about
How about "He knew he was next."
The "they made him watch" ones just sound too much like repeating the trope name to me.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I think that one would detract from the trope. It's not about showing something to cause the anticipation of it happening to yourself, but the act itself of showing your loved ones being painful.
Probably works better.

another for me. I also like Willbyr's caption
Oh come now, I know the burning log is funny, but is no one going to suggest Clockwork Orange?
Good enough; it's up and tagged. Now we just need to decide on a caption.
Did I do something wrong?
Nope. But that scene from A Clockwork Orange isn't the trope. From the Other wiki: "forcing a patient to watch, through the use of specula to hold the eyes open, violent images for long periods, while under the effect of a nausea-inducing drug. The aim of the therapy was to condition the patient to experience severe nausea when experiencing or even thinking about violence, thus creating an aversion to violent behaviour."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Ohhhhh. Well, now I'm just embarrassed.
Currently imageless. Here's a potential joke example: http://imgur.com/gallery/vElJyzI
