The Monster thread

This thread is to discuss monsters, the bread and butter of Dms Everywhere. Remember kids, all of us have a page in the monster manual. The system does not matter.

Anyhow, here is the situation, I have a campaign running that has an overabundance of air, and flying. Now, after reading the monster manuals there are not that many flying monsters, so as a responsible mastermind it is my duty to create new monsters. So, if you could be nice enough to give me ideas for flying monsters that would be great.

Related, what is your favorite monster and why? Personally I love dragons and I would like them to be used well more often. In the gamins groups I frequent they are always sitting in a cave waiting for someone to stumble upon them. They should be active players in the area they frequent.

Flying monsters? Air Kraken.

Flying Kraken? AWESOME! I actually Have giant flying thingie already lined up, but its a non violent creature that is just massive and floaty. Still, Air Kraken... how to implement?
