Splatoon

1 hour and 30 minutes for me to close this thread and never look back... until I get the game for myself.

I've pre-ordered this at my retailer, hopefully they'll deliver on the same day.

My local gamestop says it'll deliver my game tomorrow. I can only hope they are telling the truth.

*Sigh* I need to get a Switch. What I've heard of the soundtrack so far has been amazing.

I'll definitely get Splatoon 2 soon, but I can't afford it right away. I'm expecting to wait a week or two.

Salmon Run this Friday

I preordered mine on Amazon and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Even if it comes a day late that's honestly fine with me, since either way I saved about ten bucks by ordering it via Prime.

That and I have to work on Friday anyway, so best case scenario I'm only going to get a few hours in. The real question is whether I try to blast through singleplayer so I don't have to worry about spoilers anymore and unlock all the weapons or if I should start with online battles in order to unlock Ranked and Salmon Run.

If I'm reading that right, Salmon Run will be going for three days.

If only we could've downloaded it beforehand. But that would imply Nintendo isn't going backwards with regards to online with something. Well I suppose it's a good sign. Mario Kart didn't have these issues.

We many have it bad, but Japan briefly killed Amazon trying to get Splatoon codes. The numbers there are going to be wonderful.

I'm fairly sure 'the servers are slammed because there's a lot of people' and 'the online app isn't very good' are slightly different issues, and the former is more understandable than the latter.

Managed to sneak my purchase in. Definitely going to be worth having Splatoon on my Switch at all times.

eyyyy. I can't be a part of these festivities directly, cuz' I really can't afford to drop like $350+ on a Switch and the game right now — as much as I'd like to be able to.
