So I just thought of an interesting terrain feature for levels: a really low archway that you can't fit under when you're in kid form, but is enough of a gap that you could squid under it.

Ahh, my dad donated our living room TV to my grandma! But I need to level up my Reggae + Nordic!

Sounds good. Maybe even a long tunnel! (Entry would be banned when someone has the rainmaker.)

Oooh, I have an idea too. How about a circus stage with clown cannons? You can go in the cannons and get shot to specific spots on the map.

Make them low archways big enough for Splat Bombs and Seekers to fit through to make things interesting.

Hmm, I just thought of a variation for grated walkways: mostly glass, but with some spots that are grated instead, to be able to shoot or slip through. Would that work?

Well it'd be like the kelp dome walkways but some of them are glass tubes, I'm guessing?

This might work for a level that is reminiscent of an Air-Vent Passageway in spy movies. The turf wars take place in an office/bank building, where the "vents" themselves are not inkable (save probably for the parts you use to climb to the glass tubes) but players can traverse and fight in them, and drop down on the grated parts to crucial junctions like say, one of 2 splat zones.

It could also work in a 2-level underground tunnel/bunker/aquarium/sewer stage.

A two-level stage in general would be interesting, but it would make the map and super-jumping really awkward.

The simple solution is to make the 2-level thing open air (so I guess that's why there are no indoor levels, I forgot about super jumping). Also, none of the tunnels would overlap except at the grates, to facilitate super jumps.

For the office building level, the solution is have a high ceiling, and no superjumping to/from "vents". Beakons can only be placed on the floor itself.

It can also take place at the penthouse, and the "vents" are underneath the main level.

I could see a stage with two stories being done as a smaller area on the X and Y axes and the map being two squares side-by-side.

SplatoonJP: Sloshing Machine confirmed (JPN name is Screw Slosher, which sounds like a weapon Rock could copy). Armed with Splat Bombs and Bomb Rush.

It kinda looks like a blender. Just look at those blades inside it.

Hmmm, it invokes more of a washing machine design to me. That triangular thing inside looks like spokes.

The spirally shots look neat though. Kind of drill-ish.

Watching some "early preview" videos of the Sloshing Machine. I'm... Honestly not sure what to make of it. It looks like a Rapid Blaster. Only with splash damage so it can actually hit things. /shot Something I may actually try out.

They don't really use straight Boke and Tsukkomi Routine comedy all that much, even if it does very much define their relationship on-screen.
