We don't seem to have a category that specifically deals with how various different mediums show each other on a technical level. Existing tropes include Radio Voice, Walkie-Talkie Static and Hologram Projection Imperfection. Good new ones would include something about TV scanlines (rampant in comics, movies and TV these days) and an article on the slightly more esoteric concept of picture drop-in, which used to be used in movies to show a TV picture because actually filming a TV screen used to produce an unacceptably flickery picture.
Anyone interested?
