Excellent find!
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Shame about the flare, but otherwise it's good.
Check out my fanfiction! My thoughts exactly. A lot of sites have an alternate blue/yellow cover, but there's a note at the bottom saying "Note: This is not the real cover."

That glare is a huge no no, and makes it a very poor image. Here's a cover of the book from Amazon. [1]◊
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.awesome find, I support
I like 5 for the lack of a flare.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman5 is a great improvement. And I prefer that it shows the cover rather than the spine, since the title is much more clear
I wish that 5 showed the entire cover, but it does solve the glare issue so it works for me.
Clock is set. Any objections to 5?
I'm fine with it.
I'm actually going to raise an objection. Using a book title just seems like a restatement of the trope. If I wanted an explanation using words about what Courtroom Antics was, I'd just read the trope. I don't see why we can't find pics of actual courtoom antics. For example, My Cousin Vinny seems like a rich source, like the silly jacket or the tape measurer scene. [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊
The first two images there look just like an enthusiastic speech. As for the third, I can't help but thinking that we have several tropes for using amorous appeal to manipulate someone.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMainly what makes 3 work for me is the exasperated looking judge behind them.
I do like 12.3.

I could go either way on 5 vs 12.3. Somebody flip a coin.
Moon◊Prefer 5 to 12.3, though either works.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenCheck out my fanfiction!
12.3 is much better than the book cover, an image where the text is pretty much the only thing matters is not a good image.
Bumping with a crowner...should've already done this.
Book cover is a terrible image. All it does is restate the trope name. I'm a little disappointed in this forum that it's even being considered, let alone getting a lot of support.
I think there's a certain degree of humor to be found in a book that actually talks about this topic, especially one that looks like the kind of mega-fancy book you'd find in a judge or lawyer's office.
Is it just me, or does the book cover appear slanted (toward the camera from left to right)? It's kind of bothering me...along with the fact that, as others have mentioned, it's edging rather close to Might As Well Be A Page Quote territory.
Bump for votes.
Here's a screenshot I capped from the Brooklyn Nine Nine example.

Cropped to just the photo, obviously.◊
We can't easily just depict a courtroom antic, since it would most likely be better suited to one of the subtropes, and it would be carried mainly by text without much help from the visual element. Something that refers to courtroom antics in some way is most likely the best possible option.
