It's only been a generation. And low gravity wouldn't actually make them tall anyway without there being some advantage to being taller.
It's not about genes, it's about not being physically compressed every moment by Earth's gravity. It does weird things to animals that grow up on space stations.
What's precedent ever done for us?Honestly, Aldnoah gravity generators wouldn't surprise me at all. Actually, that would explain Vers hold on everyone. They need him and those he deputized to use the alien tech just to stay alive.
Okay, finally got around to watching the episode.
Nice to know that at least someone OTHER than Slaine and the princess doesn't buy into the "Mars humans are superior to Earth humans!" crap. I can understand his motives now, though he should be turning his anger against the Emperor, not Earth.
Also, Rayet, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
When the others find out what she did, there's gonna be one hell of a Rayet!
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Wow. I know it's not the biggest wham moment, but finding out that the Big Bad's motive is more complex and sympathetic than what you would normally see in your standard Evil Aristocrat was a serious highlight for me in this ep. And the whole set up for it (ala No, Mr. Bond, I Expect You to Dine) was all too clever.

I kill them.
One Strip! One Strip!Spoilers ahoy. We have titles as well as magazine scans prior to the airing to this week. So let's see:
Nothing plot substantial, barring the pics included, so make of it as you will.

If they could really only sustain themselves through gruel shipped in from Earth than yeah, the Emperor's definitely the one the Martians should be turning their hatred towards. Achieving self-sustainability should absolutely be the prime goal of a colony.
Hell, if their technology is so superior that they could make awesome mechas that completely outclass those of Earth, then they should most likely be able to terraform Mars!
Also I put Small Name, Big Ego on the show's trope page when referring to the Martians.

Poor Slaine. The very necklace he gave to Asseylum was used in her attempted murder.
I assume Slaine never actually told Asseylum that Cruhteo and the other Martians treat him like shit.
Also, for a 'mere filthy Terran', Slaine sure spent a lot of alone time with Asseylum.
So, from
I'd say its gravity thing. It seems like its main weapon is just gravity manipulation. If they can maneuver it into a place where its gravity will work against it (like under a cliff or something) they could probably time it to collapse when it's firing its weapon. With the increase in gravity that it uses to let the enemy fall it would probably be crushed.
I would buy the necklace on that ad alone.
Holy crap is the full ED amazing.
Very Kill La Kill / Xenoblade Chronicles X-esque.
At the very least, I want both versions of that track: the ending version and the orchestral version that played in episode 1 when the Martians crash-landed on Earth.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade. That's on OST1, track MKAlienZ.

Keep Rolling On'OST 1' implies there is more than one. How many are there?
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade. Most shows have at least two, sometimes three or four.
What's precedent ever done for us?One so far.
Keep Rolling OnNew episode! Let the spoilers commence!
Well, suffice to say, stuff happened, including but not limited to:
- Some proper CPR for a change. Yes, this means Asseylum lives for now.
- Both Rayet AND Marito get their acts in order.
- Slaine... is pretty much given free reign by Saazbaum, much to his confusion. Oh, and he's apparently given Cruhteo's Tharsis. Sorry guys.
- And yes, it looks like the Federation base in Russia is going to get the Axis treatment, ala Char's Counterattack.

CRUNCHYROOOOOOLL
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.A few other things too:
- Turns out that the Deucalion (the Martian Kat) was piloted by Saazbaum's main squeeze. Unfortunately, when Tanegashima got hit in the wake of Heaven's Fall, suffice to say she didn't make it. Another reason for Saazbaum to be pissed.
- Asseylum reveals her survival via broadcast, though it's not quite clear just how widespread the transmission was, but at the very least it was picked up by Saazbaum's fortress — hence its course toward Russia.
- Also Inaho's "..." at being pre-emptively friendzoned by Asseylum hah.
- Last but not the least, that dig at Space Battleship Yamato.
Guys, I put this on hold three episodes ago, because I had feeling it's about to go into grimderp territory. So was I right, or is it worth watching still?
Yeah, real Martians should be like seven feet tall on average, growing up in one-third gravity and all.
