The 90's are All that and it's decline

I saw at least one episode on TV, but most of my experience with As Told By Ginger was some frothing GameFAQs forum discussion, like how mad they went over the resolution of the Christmas episode.

I barely remember watching Ginger. I mostly remember the theme song.

I think I watched it a couple of times Nickelodeon HAPPENED to be on at my grandparents' house in Kentucky.

I remembered watching As Told by Ginger a lot when I was little and I did enjoy the way that they tackled the real life situations that a teenager has to go through in life. However, I stopped watching the show like around the last half of the episodes since my interest in Nickelodeon was going down a bit at the time.

As Told By Ginger had a drastic case of Cerebus Syndrome. I liked the show but I also totally get why the more serious it got, the more Nick started to shy away from it.

Wasn't there also something about divorce and step-father issues in the show that got even more serious?

THAT stuff made it awesome, IMHO... And I need to revisit those episodes, as well.

AWWW SHIT!!! Tonight only is the 90's Summer mixtape Monday, which means we get some much needed Rocko and Ren & Stimpy episodes.

For some reason, The Rug Rats can now only be seen weekend evenings on Nick Jr. This is risky because we do all know "half" of the episodes do have in-jokes but the new generation of youngsters may not. Plus, it isn't even educational!

Wasn't Rugrats already on Nick Jr before?

On Nickmom mabey, due to the parents being very much expy for the titular mom and dad of the 90's sitcom type, But for the daytime part of Nick jr., that's pretty strange. I guess because Tommy is a "Jr." it's suppose to fit.

Back in the day, Rugrats did get a run on Nick Jr. in the 90's.

Huh. Well then, I guess Rugrats has a new home. Good thing, too. I got tired of Them ever since they introduced Kimi.

Never watched this block but I've seen it on the channel guide list. Looked like it was just All That and a few forgettable cartoons..

The only nicktoons i really like are Ren and Stimpy and early Spongebob so I dont need to watch a late night block just for that lol

Yeah, That's why we have You Tube.

I usually use Torrent sites to watch my toons.

I don't really watch regular TV and Netflix and Youtube might not have the show that I want to watch (ie: Pinky and the Brain)

and I can admit to doing similar things, but be please be careful where you admit these things... They could be watching, or worse, tracking you.

I just download or go on a cartoon site. Netflix took a lot of the shows I liked watching away so I dont deal with them anymore lol

You just can't talk about ILLEGAL sites. Then you're in trouble.

Well, you actually outright can't here, since it's against the forum rules regarding illegal activities and pirating and etc.

This pirating issue could be solved if the cartoon companies just release all episodes on DVD at least.

Not every company is ok with that method.

I still have no idea why.

It's especially egregious when the company in question will not release the material at all. What do you have to gain if someone pirates a show that you aren't going to release?!

To be fair, you never know if they're actually planning on doing something with it. Take the Adam West Batman series. That was held up for over a decade due to rights issues and etc, but meanwhile, most people seemed to assume they were just sitting on the property and doing nothing with it. The issues for some shows could be a lot more complex than they seem at first glance—not all this information is made publicly available.
