I guess that's a good example, bad illustration. Certainly looks more creepy than good. They alone ire enough reason to pull.

The article is about any "recurring character whose role is to give some advice to the hero and then disappear." It's not specifically about the Marvel character or race by that name.
Someone unfamiliar with Marvel wouldn't know what’s being depicted in the image. Without context, it’s just some mysterious looking dude with a weirdly-shaped head.
Someone familiar with Marvel would probably assume the article is about Uatu. The title and article quote, while not bad, don’t exactly help in that regard.
What’s funny is the fact that uncropped version of the image (which has Doctor Strange introducing Uatu to Spider-Woman) would work quite fine, but I think re-sizing the image would make the text illegible: http://imgur.com/k54UmUo
