While I don't think Lucifer is going to be too much in line with the comic, they had better not change the actor. Not everything in Constantine was perfect, but Matt Ryan was.
Aye, mate.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Damn.
I really dug this show.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."So Constantine might appear on Arrow.
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyBackdoor Pilot? I'm all for it.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisBackdoor Pilot is the wrong term for this, because Constantine had a show already.
AND IT'S DEEEEEEAAAAAAD!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that....I want Rip Hunter and Constantine to meet. The Brit Snark would be epic
"You can reply to this Message!"But the character might not be so buck up.
Trump delenda estBackdoor Pilot for a relaunch. If X-Files and Heroes can have a relaunch, Constantine can too.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisHeck they're bringing back Twin Peaks and it has been since the early 90s.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThose shows were all popular at some point, though. As I understand it, Constantine never drew in very large audiences.
It did good when Syfy aired a marathon.
Constantine was sort of screwed by the network by being placed in the worst possible timeslot Friday at 10 PM.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventureit was also kind of screwed by what network it was on. Sy Fy obviously would have been a good choice but so would a network that would have better fitted the grittiness of the character like FX or A&E
Trump delenda estStephen Amell tried to pull it to CW, but they have their own ten-season ropey supernatural hokum.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von Lewiswhich is already shitty enough, given it has at least six seasons worth of Seasonal Rot.
Unless the Arrow writers significantly step up their game from Season 3, I'd be very, very worried about what they would do to Constantine. Hell, being left to the Invunche could be a less cruel fate.
Arrow was in a transition period during Season 3.
They thought Arrow was going to more popular than the Flash but once they realized the Flash was more successful they had to change a lot of their plans and start moving towards the tone of the Flash.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThat... actually doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Either way, it'll be worth it just to hear John call Ollie a green bloody wanker or something along those lines.
Daniel Cerone says we will get a little surprise about Constantine today.
He said it isn't Season 2.
It might be the crossover with the Arrowverse announcement because today is the CW's TCA presentation.

I figure that this is a good time to catch up. I think that I stopped at episode 6, for some reason.
This is a signature.That's... pretty cool. Hopefully the crossover does as well as the Flash intro episodes did back in S2.
And hopefully if it does do well CW will take on Constantine as a series.
Besides that I have one other wish, Oliver and Constantine trying to out grimdark each other ending in someone (Felicity, or Diggle both would be good candidates) telling them both to lighten up.

That's the silver lining here.
