Sincerest Condolences, Nman. Take your time and we'll make sure to hold out the option for you to return.
Minor retcon to make Gundersen's revival more possible but not make Mira seem wierdly and arbitrarily vengeful: Critical Condition in Medical Centre, which after two days is a pretty bad sign and probably implies a mild coma.
Every other character is listed MIA.

Sorry for not having posted yet, I just had two extremely important exams that needed to take priority.
Locking you up on radar since '09Cents: No one has posted in three days Centside. Some of you haven't posted You guys are dismissed. You're free now to interact; you can make up hallways, rec room or sleeping conditions (do you bunk? or have a room to yourself?) wholesale or head to the hanger/dining hall/Fergus' Empty [Locked] Office. Might even be wise to check on Rick in Medbay.
This applies to the missing Feds as well (Fluid, zzzDragon, Wryte). I didn't even notice Flanker was missing because half the party seems to be.
Sati and Rena; you're both active Fedside but try to do something Centside. Shoot me a PM if you need ideas.
Doesn't matter if you are first there and alone; internal monologues here are fine. It gives people a hook to interact with.
In both cases, decent chunks of your groups have died. The future is uncertain. Many of you have new commanders.
If this isn't enough hook to get some intra-party interaction, I don't know what is.
Please, try to keep posting every 2 or 3 days at least once.

Missing? I just posted a couple days ago. :/
What matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win, too. - F. Rogers.Three days, Wryte! Angus is now AWOL.
Bah! Time is but a window!
...
I'll get something up later today.
What matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win, too. - F. Rogers.Rick is mine!
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve. Thanks Sati & Wryte.
Sorry about that Wryte; you were the last addition to the list because I noticed you posted recently but when I double checked, I didn't see you in the 2 day margin.
Anyone have general suggestions or ideas for interaction or questions? Post it here
...or if it's a private Subplot/intrigue thing, PM Hydrall and/or the relevant Co-GM (Me for Feds, Para for Cents, though I can push things along with Fergus as well)

I have a bunch of days off so anyone on the Fed side can go bother Kara about general life things. Baking, reading, being part robot. Life.
Awesome.
I also made this;
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Roleplay/MythrilAces
I sort of want to merge in both character sheets (and update them) as well as expand the recap page and add in Co As and various stuff for all the games (Mostly Aeris but still, start one off for MA:RU)
Fun fact: Mira Coltello's name is an example of why I want to learn Italian, as both words have violent meanings ("gunpoint" and "knife," respectively), but sound beautiful.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve. Are transforming frames a thing? Asking because I spent the past 2 hours thinking about the Loto from Gundam Unicorn and the Re-GZ while playing DW: Gundam. I may or may not also be somewhat buzzed.
I don't think so for now; I think we're working off the list of 18 Frames (9 to a side) which Hydrall gave.
That said, Vanilla had them and I see no reason why they wouldn't exist. They're just more likely to be enemies fur balance reasons.
You know, I don't hate Kiera as much as I did before. I'm re-reading her dialogue, and... I love it. It's like everything she said was carefully calculated to fuck with people.
I'm laughing my ass off at the exchanges we had.
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Okay, cool, because I keep thinking about a frame that could be a boss or a late game thing or something that I'm sure isn't as cool as my current mental state thinks it is. I could say it here or PM you or something
That is Earl for me in the original game. Both characters had their flaws, but looking back I think they can be enjoyed on their own merits.
PM me or Hydrall or both otherwise, we can't exactly make it into a climatic boss. I can make no promises, but even if I don't go in that direction, I sort of like throwing in little shout outs and implications.
I really thought long and hard about including Warbunnies at a few points just to fuck with Rider's head. Game died before I could or I just might have in a later planned section.
General
So, merged all the MA trope Pages.
MA:AG's character section Needs More Love. Actually a lot of Love. There are three Feds with a Trope Each. No Cents. No Yasan. This is a travesty.
MA:RU also has a pile of Feds but only one trope between then, plus no Cents. It's also woefully out of date anyway.
Why don't Cents set up Wiki pages? It's wierd if you ask me.
Also sadly barren:

I've done a little work on Kiera since you put the page up.
I'm half tempted to see if I can bring her back and have her suddenly be really mature and reasonable, saying the her prodigious bitchiness was a side effect of her incredibly jaded outlook.
I mean, if she hadn't been so reckless, the Feds would have actually been pretty good friends. They were joking and laughing right up until she decided to unload a clip into someone instead of run.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.the old maid legion grows.
They ended up as friends, though in a wierd way.
I think one issue was that she was very righteous (maybe a little self righteous) in a setting which was very explicitly Grey-and-Gray. I was worried initially but after the initial couple rounds (and Yasan giving a good talk), she was pretty okay in that regard. Flawed maybe but enough to be a character and not an obstacle.
If I can give honest criticism, I found it wierd how quickly she transitioned to revealing herself to like Kara on her return when there wasn't really an "Aw they care for eachother" moment before and the Nakama thing that followed. I'd have maybe gone for a more subtle/backhanded way of expressing it; "You're a real pain in the ass, you know. But... we missed you." (or something akin to it) would have had a lot more emotional pay off than the glomp, in my books.
That said, it also led to Calvin accusing her of being a spy and some beautifully surreal worldbuilding which is still ambiguously canon until contradicted.

Kiera was very... swing-y. She was an idealist who was trying to be a cynic. So she's all "truth and justice!" while also being "happy endings don't exist." Basically, the only people she could really get along with consistently would have to be people who were like her- believing in good and such, wishing to hell they didn't, and perpetually pissed off because of it.
I think she just started to realize "I'm getting into a shit-ton of fights, and trying to be cynical and such is such a pain in the ass, it's more trouble than just keeping my ideals." Thus, she sort of began reverting to her "real," more agreeable personality. She was sort of like an adolescent struggling to get a hold on her identity.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Hello Faux I'm sorry that I all but puked words at you a few moments ago.
You know, I never realized it, but Kiera actually had some really awesome moments. We got ambushed by the Green Knight, he attacks Kiera because the Black Dragon resembles a Spitfire, and she actually got a few good melee shots in and called him out on the hypocrisy of his "honor" thing so spectacularly that he actually dropped his shield and left.
She called "bullshit" on a Centauri Knight, and the Knight listened.
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.I am too sleepy to read them but I will appreciate them when I get around to waking up, promise.
Honestly, that wasn't the intent. You guys were fleeing at full speed and I was trying to introduce some scary future enemies.
Ditching the shield was actually supposed to be a show of Pride though looking at the situation, ditching the shield would have been necessary to pursue, though that would have been suicide. As OP as they were, the Knights would not have been able to pursue and attack quickly enough against an organized retreat to survive.
Kiera did have her moments, but I'd be iffy counting this one.
Also, fun Trivia: The Combat was called "First Rounds" for obvious reasons. However, each of the Knights stood for a Historical Knight of Arthur's round table:
- Green Frame, "Galatine" with the Codename "Golden hair": This dude was pretty obviously Gawain, playing up the Green Knight aspect.
What was less evident however was that the other two frames were based off of two of his four siblings;
- "Magnificent Bastard": Mordred, his Half-Sibling.
- "Hard Hand": A nickname for one of his other brothers, Agravain.
I had a lot of shout outs which I never made apparent...

I know it was pride. My point is that she basically called him out in such a way that he didn't just go "whatever" and kill her. It feels like a victory.
I just read through that whole drunken debacle... the moment I thought was my worst writing ever is made hilarious by the fact that she's doing it while drunk.
I think if that had gone a few posts longer, Calvin would actually have gotten her into bed, come to think of it. That or she would have gone and snuggled up with Kara.
That was... the best moment in the whole thing.
How many years later is this rp?

It's alright man, don't worry. We'll still be here when you're ready to come back. Barring a catastrophic reversal of the Earth's poles or something.
