I'm expecting them to match the TM placement of X/Y(which every Generation tends to do as is, don't they? The HM's are always adapted to the game, though). HM's are different, though, seeing as how some moves are different. Like Dive.
I still highly doubt they're going to change the TMs mid-generation.

Trans rights are human rights. Now that T Ms aren't tradeable, it's possible, at least.
Dive is probably going to be an HM again, since Diving was quite important in Gen III. After all, Whirlpool regained its HM status for HG/SS.
Heart of StoneUnderwater maps in 3D
I enjoyed diving. I was kind of disappointed it didn't return in later games (except for one of the Pokemon Ranger games I think).
Of course, aside from being able to dive again in the remakes (and the possibly encountering a bigger variety of Undersea Pokemon), I'll be really glad to hear a remix of the Diving music.
It returned for a bit in Gen V, but it was barely used. Basically it allowed you to enter one building from multiple areas and that was it.
Oh yeah, that place. Since it was basically only used once in that game, I had forgotten about it.
I didn't like the "time limit" myself. It felt like a shallow use of it. No pun intended.
Even if it's a bit realistic.
But yeah, I liked Dive. I guess Waterfall is about the same statistically but it was cool to just explore under the water. Besides it was nice circumnavigating through encounters through that one diving area.
I absolutely LOVED diving and I was totally disappointed it wasn't used in later games (BW doesn't really count). Diving in 3D is one of the things I'm looking forward to the most in ORAS. The diving music is pretty neat too so I'm also curious to hear the new version.
Eh, don't really see the hype in Diving. The music was good, but there were only a few spots with good 'mons. Otherwise, it just felt like a spriteswap of the general swimming areas.
And then there was silenceDiving struck me as kind of a wasted opportunity. There were only maybe two undersea Pokémon, and all of the areas were bland and similar.
Maybe if they had thrown in something like a sunken (and maybe haunted?) ship/submarine/airplane to explore, or at least more ruins only accessible by going underwater.
They're adding some amount of stuff, and who knows, maybe some of the Dive spots have been graphically renovated.
I sure said that!Didn't they have underwater ruins you could explore, or am I not remembering right?
There was a single set of underwater ruins- They were where you needed to bring a Wailord and a Relicanth to to start the arduous process of clearing visual Braille puzzles to get the Regis.
I sure said that! There was also a sunken submarine you could go to
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I never did solve that puzzle.
Or get a Wailord.
Oh really when?I used Wailord as a surf monkey, because I figured it'd be much more comfortable to sit on then, say, Tentacool.
Heart of StoneDiving was always confusing to me since I could never remember where the proper way to certain places was.
Patches of deep water.
What should really bother you is how Electric types can battle underwater without killing everyone by accident.
One Strip! One Strip!Too much water would kill the electric current, wouldn't it?
Think they'll make getting the Regis less Guide Dang It!?
x3
Every other remake also stuck mostly to the same plot without much major changes but these aren't doing that. I don't think we can assume that just because previous remakes did something that these will as well. Especially when GF has been going against expectations since generation five.
