15 seconds does sound a bit too long...foy.
Something to skip on rewatches, not necessarily the 1st time.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I didn't think it was that bad either, I've heard much worse potty humor jokes in kids show.

I ain't a fan of gross-out humor like most of the internet and tend to pass over scenes that do it - but what Infinity Train did, I've seen worse. So I don't care.
In short, Infinity Train needs to be a mini-series at most, IMHO - it lends itself so damn well to that, compared to a full series, which I know can & will burn out easily with this setup. With a little tweaking (should it get picked up), I could see this being the next Over The Garden Wall, if not better.
As for Victor&Valentino - while I like the art-style and lore of it (because I'm a bit of a sucker for references to Mexico's Day of The Dead, which this seems to be paying homage to.), I'm not sold on much else. Infinity Train all the way!
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I agree about Infinity Train, it could make an awesome mini series, I dunno how it could be a full series and stay interesting.
Fart car gag was fine, and well applied throughout the episode. This is a good pilot, reminiscent of Over The Garden Wall in that it seems to be a supernatural story with a bit of a Myth Arc but enough randomness built into the 'verse that it can also be episodic. Could be a fine miniseries or full series (although the inevitable Cartoon Network hiatuses would be unbearable).
I agree that Infinity Train would work best as a miniseries. It has too tight of a myth arc, and I really don't see the "go to a new magical place every episode" idea would hold together too long in this day and age without a tight myth arc backing it. Especially considering how there are only 3 recurring characters, and 2 of them are more there as comic relief than anything else. (That being said Over The Garden Wall would have been just fine as a regular run series. The myth arc would get pushed more into the background, but imo there was so much more to love in OTGW than just the DEEPEST LORE stuff, which only really comes into play for a little bit, then fades off when it is no longer needed).
I don't absolutely hate V&V, but it needs a lot of work, on the characters mostly to make them work a lot better. The premise is very Gravity Falls-y, but without a lot of that clever writing that made Gravity Falls click.
You can always add more characters to make the dynamic work, if the issue is want of characters.

I'm feeling the unholy urge to unleash Armageddon on an unsuspecting mankind by writing Apple and Onion/Pickle and Peanut foursome slash fanfiction.
Here's another one from last year.
There are some things I don't like about it (hello, ugly art style and morally dubious protagonists) but there's a solid concept here...
Even if that concept is essentially just Chalk Zone.

hey, guys, I have a bit of question, what do you want in a cartoon, both in it's characters and story/plot?
MIAFor as long as I can remember, Pokemon was always a part of Cartoon Network.
I can't say I'm surprised though. Pokemon hasn't really been treated well by Cartoon Network for quite a while now even in spite of how praised the XY season was overall.
I can remember when Cartoon Network didn't have Pokemon and it was solely a Kids WB thing.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Yeah, I remember finding it really weird when Cartoon Network started airing Pokémon.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here..... so it's done? Cartoon Network will stop airing Pokemon for good?
This was in 2002, if I remember right; perhaps someone behind the scenes knew Saturday morning had already entered its death throes and needed to put it somewhere where it would still get viewers.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Pokemon was one of the last cartoons shown on a weekday basis on my local WB affiliate. They'd show Sailor Moon early in the morning, and then Pokemon in the afternoon.
I definitely remember Pokemon being on the weekday lineup of Toonami, so it had to have been before '04 that they started airing the show.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Wikipedia has it as airing on Cartoon Network starting in 2006. [1] It was on CN in other countries before then, but not in the U.S.
(And I would trust that this particular bit of information is accurate, since articles like these on Wikipedia usually are for minute details like that.)
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I think that only accounts for when they started airing new episodes.
They were definitely airing reruns of older episodes of that show in 2002.
This forum thread from 2002 mentions it airing on Cartoon Network on weekdays at 9.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."No, that's when they started airing reruns too.
And Kids' WB had a Toonami block in 2002. I see zero evidence anywhere else that it was aired on Cartoon Network prior to 2002, and every source I can find says it was only ever aired on CN from 2006 onward. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
This is literally the only source I can find that implies CN ever aired Pokemon in 2002, but it only says it was "announced" and not that it ever happened, and literally every source I can find contradicts this.
Okay, this is a more credible source that says Pokemon was aired on CN around then, but I don't know if it's accurate or if they have sources on it (there certainly are none cited), and since I can't find anyone talking about it (and knowing Pokemon fans and having been a huge one at the time, I know people would be talking about it), I'm categorizing this as an aberration.
site note: It's fascinating going through these old forum threads comprised largely of 12 year olds (judging by how they write). Brings back cringey memories of my own past on forums as a teenager...
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. This ought to be the last word on the subject.
I checked the Internet Archive - this is a schedule from early 2003. Look at 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. - what do you see?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Well, fair, but did it actually air then? Things can be on the schedule and not actually be aired.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
Yeah, I honestly didn't mind the "fart car" gag.
Like I never got the feeling that it overstayed its welcome or anything...
