I think the buttons look good. I thought the old ones looked just fine, don't get the change, but I do not think these look any worse.
My only request is for something to be done with the discussion tag. I can no longer tell when it already has a discussion on it or not...or maybe someone could just tell me how I am supposed to tell.

Offensive Handle: They're being discussed at the thread that Septimus Heap linked to.
The buttons look okay now that the icon no longer overlaps the text, but the space between the icon and the text is too big on certain icons, like Main, Trivia, and YMMV. I do miss the descriptions, but I'll go to the other thread with that.
