The Nut Job has its own "Fridge" tab, so why is that not showing at the top of the page?

No icon has been selected.

We already had an icon for it. The little light bulb thing. idea That's why it wasn't on the namespace icon sandbox.

I've noticed the tabs Headscratchers are missing as well. For that matter, the interface in that area seem to be a bit messed up on my end. The icons are slightly overlapping the words.

[up]That last bit is true for me as well (Firefox). And in Chrome there's sometimes an extra space, sometimes the icons are snug with the text.

Yeah, I have the same problems (I use Firefox). The text sometimes overlaps with the icons, sometimes it doesn't, with no apparent logic to why this happens. And the Headscratchers and Fridge tabs are both missing on all pages.

I took a screencap of what the overlapping looks like, it's from the Cool Starship page:

Hmm, I revisited the Cool Starship page, and the overlapping has disappeared. Looks like it only happens when you visit a page for the first time. When you refresh the page in your browser, the overlapping disappears and the tabs look normal again.

Huh, this is weird. It's actually a bit over-spaced on trope pages now, but the overlapping is still there for works

Why do we even HAVE those pointless descriptions for the self-explainatory icons now? All they do is needlessly stretch out the tabs so that they don't fit on a single row, if you need to know what each button does just mouse over them.

I can't mouse over them: I'm on a tablet.

There's still a list of subpages on the left dropdown menu if it's needed, having a text description for each button really doesn't make sense. Furthermore, the buttons are sorted in an alphabetical order now, which doesn't really make much sense to begin with and breaks their usual grouping.

I seriously don't understand why the site changes need to be so sudden and applied to the site the minute they're thought of even if they're just experiments.

Already posted in the Namespace Icons thread, but well, I agree with Another Gamer. We already have a drop down list with the full texts(or acronyms) in an alphabetical order.

This has actually been in development for over a YEAR. Just because you aren't paying attention to everything on the site (nobody can) doesn't mean it hasn't been discussed.

OK, fine, I was just assuming this was like one of the previous spur-of-the-moment decisions, didn't think to check the images board first.

These issues are under discussion here as well.

I just noticed this: if a troper has the same name as a work, and s/he has created a Troper page, it appears as a tab under the work's page. Here's an example:

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tropers/Arrow

Since the troper page has nothing to do with the work, this seems like something that should be fixed?

That is the same situation as with my troper page, Tropers.Septimus Heap. Might want to report that in the abovementioned topic.
