Neither of them seemed to a have a real goal for the body parts. Red Chaika just said she wanted to take revenge on those who had them, White just said she would give her father a funeral when she had them all.
There goals don't seem all that incompatible other than the "there can be only one" thing.
I'm just curious what horrible thing is going to happen when all of the remains are in the same place. I'd place good odds on some kind of zombie wizard resurrection.
Didn't red Chaika say she'll rebuild the Gaz empire or something?
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Personally, I don't think we should take Red Chaika's revenge talk too seriously.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Episode 6. In which there are birds that are not ducks.
Red kind of reminds me of Signum.
"If you'll fight me later." Still itching for a fight.
Well, that's the other theory about multiple Chaikas.
Hair is affected by gravity. Skirts are not.
Yeah, that's not the violent and cynical sister. I actually like that girl. She's playful and funny. Better than I expected, honestly.
I like that his answer to her insecurity about being the real Chaika is that he doesn't care; she's still his Chaika.
Gonna agree with the There Can Be Only One bit. Tacked on for tension.
Check out my fanfiction!I dunno, it seems to fit organically with the Red Chaika's personality. She's both more hardline and vengeance-driven, with less tolerance for complexity and ambiguity, and jealous of her sister/clone/whatever for having Toru on her side. I would imagine that other Chaikas with other personalities might take a different attitude.
What's precedent ever done for us?Episode 7:
- Guy encourages Toru's distrust.
- Vivi, you can't just test out one's concentration by breaking his concentration, when it's very clear that he is concentrating. That's just bad tactical manners.
- I honestly thought they were looking directly at the screen. But that's just me.
- Fredrica, at this point, is all "Damn it, when will I see blood!?" But, she'll help 'em out anyway. Now, about her fight...
- Nice dream sequence, Toru. All lovey-dovey and crap. And Akari was right about you having such thoughts.
- W-Well, Gillette is a knight in shining armor type, so of course Chaika would elope with him.
- For a second, I thought Akari was gonna whack him.
- Damn it, Akari's slaps aren't getting through to him! Well, Fredrica's punches will do the trick.
- Chaika looked cool shooting while riding on Fredrica's back.
- Looks like most of the Eight Heroes are living- or have lived- unremarkable lives after the war. Kinda sad.
- ...Yeah, Chaika's ticked.

I love how Toru basically tried to explain just why it was Chaika was in it — because to him, Chaika was the only valid option. I mean, Akari was family, and Frederica was a dragon....
Suffice to say it's not a very convincing explanation. :P
Episode 7. In which there are illusions and delusions.
"I don't even know where to begin to correct you." That about sums up most of what she does and how she thinks.
Scania? Koenigsegg? Is this going to be a race episode?
Chaika just loves shopping.
Such an attitude that dragon has... I'm not even sure how to describe it.
You know someone's bad when Chaika is the straight man.
Chaika waving with that hand is kinda funny.
I'm not sure I've seen such non-malicious violence that's still just violence for the sake of being violent. Even in gratuitous violence the dragon is better than the sister...
If they jump down a cliff, wouldn't that be into a place where she hasn't shot away the fog?
Chaika being pouty is cute.
Check out my fanfiction!Well, in my headcannon what made Akari impossible was there was never even slightest chance for her to beyatray and he knows it, so illusion just gave up on that impossible idea.
Fredrica may be one of the more weirdly insane dragons I've ever heard of.
so I caught up with all 7 episodes of this that are out at the moment and this is REALLY nice. I love it. Toru is a great protagonist, the fights looks awesome, Chaika is cute and Frederica is one of the most amusing dragons I know of.

Episode 8. In which there are magicians.
If he expressed doubt that Chaika is as dangerous as they're led to believe, why does he seem reluctant to stop chasing her?
Gaz doesn't seem that bad in all respects.
What a ragtag bunch of nationalists... And Yellow!Chaika. Seems pleasant. Just makes me wonder where the actual conflict of the episode will be.
Okay, gotta give credit to the grumpy sister. For once.
I wasn't expecting her to take that form in the coffin... But overall, a convincing performance.
Chaika is a good liar. About her name. Not her feelings.
Yeah, of course she gets interrupted. Can't have Chaika speak in complete sentences, after all.
The result of that battle is predictable.
If they were just living on the countryside, and didn't hear anything in particular about Gaz, it means neither good nor bad news. Which is relatively accurate for a lot of Real Life history.
Overall a fairly relaxed episode.
Check out my fanfiction!Anyone seeing this silly image trend of Chaika's face being shopped over pretty much everything (from the face of a different anime character to the front of a steam locomotive)?
The general's ripped sleeves tail coat was hilarious.
That and no one recognizing White Chaika were big clues that something was off.
Episode 8:
- New Gaz Empire? And look, Yellow...Chaika...? Almost got fooled for a minute, but lies! If she was Chaika Yellow, her hair's supposed to be silver, and her eyes are supposed to be purple. Fact!
- Hm? Hey Chief, why are you preventing Gillette from digging any deeper? Hiding something perhaps...?
- Those were some neat tricks, but the last one was especially spectacular! It's a Dragoon-In-The-Box! So awesome, that guy's immediate thoughts went away.
- The Silent Jail Break. And oh, how Toru tried his best not to get involved. Too bad his employer's heavy on the empathy.
- So they all were simple country folk. So of course building a new empire was too lofty a goal for them.
- Emperor Gaz, The Mad King! Also, a pioneer in engineering and the arts.
My brother said he saw Chaika's face photo-shopped over a cat's face... Her face is that meme-tastic...?

I think it's the eyebrows. the same thing happened with Satsuki's(Kill La Kill)face if I'm not mistaken
. but yeah, there are some anons on 4chan's anime and manga board shopping Chaika's face on stuff

Episode 9:
- Getting magic fuel is never easy. I just realized this.
- On this day of the war's end, memories are put under the spotlight. Happy memories, resentful memories, sad memories, and memory fuel. Don't you ever do the last one, Chaika. I don't really want to find out if you'll suffer the same fate as a Magius...
- So, Acura isn't their last name, they're using the name of the village as their last name. And saboteurs are like ninja.
- Ah, tis a good time for a Gaz's remains hunt.
New week, new Chaika. Literally in this case. ^^;
Well, we get to finally see the flying fortress... And it looks like something from the recent Ubel Blatt chapters. Kind of expecting Bones to go the extra mile here and reference the Skid, but eh.
That said, god so much Genre Blind. Seemingly empty castle, mysterious girl trying to lead you on?
Also I am amused at how the series contrives ways to keep Fredrika from just stomping the opposition into the ground.
You would think they would be adept at pickup up Chaika's by now. I'd be more surprised if Layla wasn't one honestly. .
I wonder if Fredrica gets to fight stuff so she gives Toru a pass for a bit after this.
Whanna bet The giant Gundo in the castle is to fire a mind control beam at at the allied army. Rebel, then control the army that comes to put it down. I've heard of worse plans.
Episode 10:
- Giant fortress is ginormous. And the Duke's quite a sleaze...
- That messenger owl.
- Yay for recklessness. They're gonna get owned for sure.
- A nice place to begin infiltration. Now they're armed and ready to go.
- ...Except these soldiers are not your ordinary soldiers. And Fredrica got shafted. Again! When will she see blood!?
- Well...turns out the Duke's not so sleazy. Cause he be dead. Whoa, that kid has quite the appetite for blood. Definitely Jerme-level. So, what's with gathering all the women?
- A mind-controlled Akari is no fun at all. And of course Layla's in cahoots with those two. But why so hidden? Perhaps...she's another Chaika?
Well, damn. Bets on this being the Chaika factory?
What's precedent ever done for us?Come to think of it, what DO you call a situation where the plot deliberately makes it sure that the overpowered character is unavailable whenever fighting needs to be done?

Been waiting to watch this until I had enough time. Then I decided I wanted to watch two episodes at the same time, so I waited a couple more days.
Episode 9. In which there are memories.
Magic as fireworks. Surprisingly rare.
Chaika is amusing trying to look friendly.
That's certainly an immediate and convenient explanation for her memory loss.
"Whoever you love must be very fortunate." In any other anime, he'd be the lead. But her fortune really tells her to stick with it about as clearly as it ever could.
Kind of impressive to cling onto a cliff wall like that.
Methinks she has a bit of an issue with pride.
I find it a little odd to hear Chaika talking about the importance of memories, even bad ones, like that, after she had casually suggested she use her own memories as fuel before.
That seems like a random lead.
Episode 10. In which there's a Castle In The Sky.
Well, it's revealed quickly what's going on. On the surface, at least.
That's a rather creepy condition for their fight. Lovely sister, she is.
That's always an easy way to enter.
The way the nobles argue about taking the fortress makes it seem like maybe the duke's not a bad guy after all, since taking it with force is represented by the out-for-blood noble, and objected by the more cautious one.
Hey, look at that girl.
"If we're surrounded when we step out." Yeah, need to get that far first.
Well, that's her out for the moment.
And then they just run through the soldiers. What was the problem, now again?
So, why do they impale Fredrica immediately, but very deliberately leave Akari alive? I mean, other than that Akari dies if she's killed.
That guy is a match for Akari's creepiness. I wonder if they should hook up, or if they shouldn't. Well, at any rate, shows who's evil.
It looks almost funny to point that thing at her like that.
So, him versus her. Well, he's restricted to non-lethal attacks, and she can use whatever trick in the book she knows. She doesn't stand a chance.
Check out my fanfiction!
The Chaikas have the same specific goal for the body parts—to unite them—but for our Chaika it seems to be just an amnesiac compulsion, while red Chaika actually seems interested in the consequences of that. But the real reason for conflict is probably just that red Chaika is mad jealous of white Chaika for holding Toru's affections.
