Huh. So I can sleep with my eyes open.
I guess I'm so used to seeing Jack on the chair, that he eventually just merged with the scenery in my brain.
I once discussed with a friend that he probably doesn't let anyone touch that chair (unbeknownst to him, sitting on the chair and coming back in one piece has become the ritual of initiation for the attendant kids in the building).
Some of them put tacks on the chair to see if they can get Jack to wince.
He just takes it like a boss and sits with Tacks in his ass, cause that's how the King rolls.
One Strip! One Strip!Little do they know that his coat is made of thick material, so he doesn't even notice the tacks. Of course, this just makes him look even more stoic.
Then, they upgrade to Whoopie cushions.
One Strip! One Strip!Wait. Sits on a throne. Is a king. Has fiends under his command...
Jack is actually D/D/D Twin Dawn King Kali Yuga [1]!
...I walked into an internet minefield again, didn't I? I'll just...leave that-away...Maybe Reiji's bigger Ace monsters can be said to be references to previous series' Rival characters and some of their monsters.
Kali Yuga involves a lot of dark red coloration, is a Fiend much like Jack's tuners and some of his other monsters, it destroys masses of cards like Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend, and has the same attack power at the start as Red Nova Dragon.

- Sergey has a phD in masochism.
- Yuzu lost. She lost hard. Wonder if she'll come out of that unscathed...
- Thorn Prisoners: Making everyone go "WTF" since 2015.
Sergey is just asking for that strategy to go horribly wrong next time round.
Surely he's dealt with people who were aware of his archetypes gimmick. He's probably got either some sort of emergency healing card, or some hand traps which also negate attacks. Maybe he has a monster which negates all effect damage he takes, so he can bring it out when he's at low health to protect himself?
...I walked into an internet minefield again, didn't I? I'll just...leave that-away...You know, given all the horrible mental trauma that's been happening to Yuya, I wonder, what would Shadow Yuya be like?

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Given one of the spoilers indicated yuya and Roger joining forces...this says some really nasty things about the future.
a particular idea I have is Yuya going Supreme King and Roger figuring if he cannot be a king under any occasion he can be a chancellor, thus, Supreme King Yuya and Supreme Chancellor Jean Michel Roger.

Sora is seemingly having a Pet the Dog moment, probably cause he still considers Yuya and Yuzu his friends despite what's happened. I suppose it's also because he already said he's there for Serena, and not Yuzu. It doesn't matter anyway, since Academia is coming.
Hard to tell how sympathetic Shinji was before the duel started, but it's clear he's got the commons in his hands. They are supporting him the way they'd normally be supporting the hero. Even if Yuya wins, I feel like he'll fail at both his goals with the way things are going right now. In fact, I think he'll definitely fail to bring smiles to the people of the Synchro dimension, because it's just too messed up.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, I like this set of Bee Force monsters better than the initial set we saw.
Yeah. Shinji summoned a literal queen bee.
I'm not sure how I expected Sora to deliver his message to Yuya, but I sure expected more... subtlety. Since anyone else who knows him can only see what's happening on a screen, yelling YUUUYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA from the top of a building after going assassin across the city works, too, I guess.

I wonder what the writers are planning with Sora. He outed himself as part of the villain fraction yet the heroes still consider him their friend and he still seems to think the same as them despite his previous actions since he did rescue Yuzu and let Yuya know that she's okay and he doesn't seem to be trying to take her back to Academia.
It does seem to tie into a greater theme regarding the horrors of war, now with two friends being in opposite sides.
Sora seems to genuinely care to some degree about Yuya and Yuzu, but he's a soldier first. I'm not sure even he really knows what he's doing, but at least he tried to get Yuya on his side during their duel in the Battle Royale (with his reaction to Yuya's new cards being mostly of admiration), and doesn't seem to intend to let Yuzu get captured, so he does care in his probably-really-warped-worldview kind of way.
I'm not sure how far or deep they're willing to go with the war subject (this is Yu-Gi-Oh!, after all), but it's very interesting how characters from all sides in the war can be sorted in a Morality Kitchen Sink (it even reminds me a bit of Avatar: The Last Airbender's treatment of the subject). I look forward to see what happens with this, and how they plan to pull of a possible redemption arc for the characters from Academia.

That's true.
Hell, as Shun and Yuuto show, even two characters on the same side, and genuinely friends can still seem to be very different in their Morality. Shun has clearly fell heavily into He Who Fights Monsters territory (where even if you say the people he fought deserved it, he still managed to be horrifically brutal), while Yuuto, who has the same experiences, and the same rage over what was done to his home, still tempers it with mercy.
One Strip! One Strip!Even then he's carded innocent people, some of whom are never returned to normal. So yeah full on monster like Academia. Specifically those three guys chasing Yuya because he matched the description of the person they were looking for, which for some reason people thought is a Kick The Son Of The Bitch on the lancers page despite them only doing their job. Then they blow away in the wind. That right there is three people he killed since LDS is never suggested to find them.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Speaking of Carding, I can imagine a scene in the future where Yuri pulls out what looks like his deck, only to reveal that it's an entire deck of carded people.
...I walked into an internet minefield again, didn't I? I'll just...leave that-away...Or it could be both.
I mean, Dartz once used a deck that had the people sealed in cards as his monsters right?
One Strip! One Strip! No, he pretended to put the souls of Atem's friends into some monsters he summoned. I'm not sure if it was just a mind game or not, but destroying the monsters didn't hurt the souls so who knows.
Jack's mental monologue: "God, I can't wait to until I can get out of this chair. I should get a cushion, this seat is hard as rock. Can I get a cushion? Of course I can get a cushion, I'm the King. I wonder what the chef is making for dinner tonight. I'm thinking chicken a la king, that sounds good. I should let him know, after I can get up from this stupid chair. At least my Duel Runner has cushions, why did I ever let them make this so uncomfortable? Oh yeah, I should probably pay attention to the duel."
