Oh yeah, I heard the finale was confirmed to be Yuya vs. Reiji. Anyone care?
Not really.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. If it's a good duel I'll care. ;p
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Episode 143:
Gongenzaka grabs an action card, the episode.
Step into the grand tour! Grand tour baby! Step in to the grand tour! Yugioh Arc V!
Whelp. It's a good thing I'm Captain Scarlet, cause I expect a few death threats for that one.
One Strip! One Strip! After ruining the extra deck now Yugioh mocks me with a new Superheavy synchro. >=(
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! One that goes against the rest of the theme at that.
So Yuya fixed the entire XYZ Dimension in 2 episodes?
The Protomen enhanced my life.So Yuya does have access to all 4 Dragons, yes? Since the spirit of Zarc is within Reira, there's literally no threat to him using them to bring more Entertainment and do this little World Tour, right?
he seems to want to be better safe than sorry.
I think the reason he didn't use it is a lot more simple: Dark Rebellion doesn't exactly scream 'Child-friendly Entertainment!'
That, and it would've screwed up the strategy.
Dark Rebellion would have helped him win with fewer attacks. It was purely an entertainment decision.
No it wouldn't have. It's just a 2500 beatstick, as the anime effect only applies to level 5 and higher monsters. Yuya still needed the mirror thing and multiple consecutive attacks, which wouldn't be possible with DRXD.
EDIT: Actually, there is one way to win with DRXD. Odd-Eyes attacks > Tribute sale > Odd-Eyes attacks > Tribute scale > Odd-Eyes attacks > Tribute the 400 boosting continuous > Odd-Eyes Attacks > DRXD Attacks directly

@4009 Card games are enough to alter reality enough to split the universe in four. Compared to that Yuya's ability to open up the hearts and minds of spectators is beans.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!146 has an airdate and title but not a summary, but it has Yuya versus Jack Atlas. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_ARC-V_-_Episode_146
The Protomen enhanced my life.146's summary is out!
Jack chastises Yuya, who fears Zarc’s revival and doesn’t want to use the dragons. Jack says that Yuya should try to command the four dragons and make full use of them. He then challenges Yuya to a Duel, and…
The Protomen enhanced my life.Mad theory from Nick The Swing; the series end duel will be Yuya vs. Zarc. But its Zarc all grown back up in Reira's body and not quite so maladjusted and crazy. He's still got this "I am ultimately going to be a Devil" thing going on in his head though in a somewhat guilty way. So he meets an older Entertainment Duelist named Yuya who brings smiles to everyone, and Yuya promptly makes Zarc smile during their duel which functions as Zarc's entry to entertainment dueling, which culminates in a face off between Startime Magician and Odd Eyes.

Episode 145:
When even Kurosaki can't bring himself to hate you, you know you've hit a low.
And now JACK ATLAS takes the stage to call Yuya a punk.
One Strip! One Strip!Arc-V is ending with Episode 148.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I haven't watched since 128 but that last episode's description is pretty interesting.
@ 144: I'm glad they finally found the budget they lost after the final episode of the Zarc duel.
Despite the fact that there was barely any story in that episode that was a better conclusion to the XYZ arc than the actual conclusion. I wonder if that was the general plan for that arc's finale if it hadn't been cut short.
So the last duel is against the primary rival, seems fitting. Especially since 5D's did the same thing 6 years ago. Maybe Yuya will finally beat him cleanly...well technically he did, but Yuya was kind of demonic at the time.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
Let's be real. If Zarc were playing with Link rules, he'd have a link monster with like 4000 attack that automatically destroys any other Link monster and lets him use all five of his monster zones for summoning from the extra deck. And also if Supreme King Servant Link Dragon is targeted for attack the opposing monster is destroyed before damage calculation and also Wall of Text with like 12 other effects.
