And Kaito does in fact wreck stuff with his new dragon. See Sawatari. This is what happens when you randomly pick fights.

This will be the one episode this season that Sawatari gets to show off how competent he actually is, won't it?

To be fair, Kite picked that fight at the end of the previous episode.

Gongenzaka also messed up pretty badly. His target should not have been Chain, but Interfere. I doubt Kite would have proceeded to crash his monster to win the duel, the anime never does that.

Alternatively, if Trumpeter had its IRL effect, he could have gone into level 6 and won.

Oh, and Why did Sawatari not play any equip spells on the final turn to get himself out of that mess? The ones he did play are underwhelming at best.

Because he was suppose to lose. That's his job. And Gongenzaka was was contracted to assist him.

Still, I don't think it would have been too much to ask to give him an Abyss Costume - Moon Mirror Shield so Kite has to actually try.

Hey, question for those who have seen the subs for 99 & 100. Do they use the OCG card names (Japanese) or the TCG card names (English)? There's usually both but the current subs only have one of them until they release an updated version and I tend to watch the show with the OCG track.

Monosubs' v1's are always OCG.

Saw the new episode. I like Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's effect, because it counters the effect of ZEXAL Kaito's Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

Even when Sawatari is trying to think ahead (right from the start, he wanted to prevent Galaxy Eyes from coming out) he's still an idiot.

But Kaito likely would have attacked them anyway (when you are that full of hate you don't just have a hammer, you are one, and nails get pounded down so deep, you never see them again), so...

Oh, the production staff hasn't been animating the movie for at least a good month or two - the animation quality's gone up since middle of Synchro (and the plot's gotten tighter as well).

Okay, recently the fanbase seems to be becoming divided over whether or not the Heartland we see in Arc-V isn't actually the Heartland we know from Ze Xal. Could anyone provide evidence that can settle this argument once and for all, this is gonna become just like the 83 and 87 war back in the FNAF Fandom.

Kiryu had his chance to come back when the show was focused on the Synchro Dimension.

Yeah. I was hoping for some more Morphtronic support while they were still in Synchro (a new 2-card Speedroid Quasar combo just power-creeped them to even further irrelevance), but nope. Xyz and Fusion people until we conclude.
