In Firefox, the loading times of some parts of Tvtropes take around a minute and a half!! The spinning wheel on the top corner just stops, as if the computer's chugging! And it happens at various intervals and is completely unpredictable! It took me 7 full minutes just to navigate to this section and start this page! Is it the ads??? Flash ads DO chug up CPU like a banshee, and that new video ad that always appears on the bottom noticeably stops and start randomly too!

Maybe it's just your computer? I'm using Firefox (with like 400 other tabs open as well) on a PC with barely any memory left and everything here loads perfectly fine for me.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

You don't need to shout, by the way.

I am on Firefox as well with a scriptblocker and exceptions and it only hangs if the Shockwave script hangs.

Hey if you want shouting, I can use all caps and bold styles. That would be shouting. :D

Repeated punctuation marks are also a form of shouting note . Granted, it's not as 'loud' as ALLCAPS, but still.
