I watched it often, and enjoyed it.
Do people seriously find Wheezie that annoying?
I feel this show Barney-the-Dinosaur-ified dragons.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I think it sparked my interest in dragons when I was a kid, in a child friendly way. And since I still like dragons now, I can't really fault it.
Oh, lord. THIS show. I watched the living Hell out of it when I was a child. Was Org voiced by the same voice actor who voiced Patrick?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's Ord, and IMDB doesn't have him listed for that role.
Yes, but it paled in comparison to the glory known as Spyro.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I used to watch this show pretty often when I was little. I think I remembered that my little sister had the music CD for this series and I listened to some of the songs on it when I was younger.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I also had one of those games.
I don't think I can say I hated the show, but it probably arrived when I was getting too old for that block of programming, and it may have contributed to the feeling I had that PBS was resorting to "cartoons about nothing" instead of always giving their shows a clear educational purpose.
What do ya mean? It was a show. ABOUT FUGGIN' DRAGONS!!!

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI can't argue with that!
Those pouches horrified me. They could store as much as they wanted there yet where made out of their own flesh. Hmm, and there was that one mermaid book i read where mermaids turn out to have natural pockets. There might be a trope here...
The "Kingdom Come" episode is also scary to me. What is this place and why can you never leave? Why does the guy who runs it only want visitors to stay and never go? Is it some kind of dystopia? The afterlife from which one dies and ascends to the next realm forever? Are there other ways from which one can get there? Are all visits unintentional? Why are there no other guests? Does the owner reap their souls for sacrifice? Is he and his purgatory hotel still out there?

OH GOD HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME RELIVE THAT NIGHTMARE?!
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Good grief, this show...even when I was little I thought it was incredibly juvenile. I probably only ever watched it if Arthur or ZOOM or Cyberchase (whatever show was on then) ended and I didn't feel like changing the channel for some reason.
Also, dammit, now that demonically catchy theme song is stuck in my head again. That song is like the Duck Tales theme for toddlers.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Except Ducktales' theme has less of a chance of getting your ass kicked for singing it out loud.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWhy could the dragons do stuff like shrink or turn invisible when they got upset? THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING A DRAGON! Oh god, I need to go lie down...

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Dragons are known for having all kinds of crazy powers. Eastern ones are even more broken than western ones. So yeah, the concept of a dragon is really wide.
Why don't they ever use those powers intentionally? There's plenty of places where being invisible or shrinking could have come in handy, such as when they needed to cross the troll bridge. Make yourself sad, turn invisible, cross, now you're happy because you crossed without getting caught.
I also was unsure for a long time if Ord's name was Ord or Org, so I wondered if when he recited the website at the end of the episode, he was saying his own name in the "DOT ORG."
Power Incontinence because they're just kids? *shrugs*
The dragons or the kids that watched this mess?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI hope everyone in this thread realizes we're debating plot holes in a cartoon aimed at small children about magical friendly dragons. Okay, yes? We're all on the same page here? Okay, let's continue... They totally added a Spanish kid at some point.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Ah, yes, Enrique. I never liked that guy, actually.
Anyway, this is one of those shows that you enjoy when you're five years old, but then you rewatch it ten years later and it doesn't hold up for anything other than nostalgia value.

I too wondered about the possibilities of how their bodily reactions when upset could be harnessed.
But one thing I also wondered, as far as I know, Zak and Weezie never had such a trait whenever they got upset. Worst that ever happened was that whenever she annoyed him too much, he'd whip out... the ALONE CONE.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your grief
Has anyone seen this PBS show? I did, when I was younger. I thought that it was okay. Tell me your experiences, thoughts and opinions about this show and why you feel that way.
