That had to go, way over the edge. Suggestion seems a good enough switch to me but it was only switched out without much comment in November last year, here's what came before.

Do we want to pull the robotnik pic from the main page, though? Or find something else to replace this one.
I'm not sure how well that demonstrates the trope. Out of everyone in the picture, only one of them qualifies as Fan Disservice, and the others aren't really reacting very badly.

Yeah, it's not a great pic at all but the replacement went too far the other way so we're back down to zero unless we're pulling the current from Main.Fan Disservice.

I think there's more an issue of being merely... too gross rather than NSFW. It's good but it overplays what we want and it's that whole trying not to shock the crap out of someone thing.

My vote is for this page to not have any images at all. Not only is Fan Disservice an inherently subjective thing that can not be objectively illustrated, but finding and posting pictures that many people would consider objectionable, disturbing, revolting etc. would be a disservice to the fans of TV Tropes.
The one thing I might accept would be something that illustrates a fan's reaction rather than the thing they are reacting too.
Yeah, the image on the western animation subpage of Fan Disservice is possibly too good of an example, and that it pushes the wiki's standards of good taste a bit far. For the moment I commented it out, just to be on the safe side. If it's just me, we can uncomment it, but I think that it edges a bit too close to being NSFW to leave on the page.
