• Appearance: John stands fairly tall for someone of his age. He's allowed his hair to grow to about shoulder length, matching that of his Duel Spirit. He also has a necklace with a replica Aquamirror on it. He's a little cray-cray about Dueling you see...
• Personality: Always driven through various kinds of stupidity and mischief by his Duel Spirit, John is a wayward soul who drifts without any direction, having flowed through North and Central Acadmies already.
• Bio: Born in the world of adventure known as Portsmouth (hint, it's a boring town in southern England), from almost every moment he could speak his nerdish tendencies would show through. He'd lose whole days playing his Nintendo 64 or Game Boy and almost all his pocket money found it's way to grabbing more packs of cards (although his current Deck wasn't formed until much later and came almost entirely from Duel Terminals). From such an origin, isn't it obvious that the Duel Acadamies are the world's most clear course?

Yeah, I don't go in long; I fall to Characterisation Marches On fairly frequently (albeit usually for the better) so I don't commit to too much on the signups.

On Peter: My feeling is that he probably left the academy in order to focus on researching what other Apophis-like threats could be out there. And his research probably takes the form of him travelling with his father again.

• Name: Travis Gerson
• Age: 18
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Perpetually messy hair and ill-fitting baggy clothes. Tends to slouch, but with a straightforward and constantly alert gaze.
• Personality: Constantly confident and cheerful, in a way that edges into a kind of manic arrogance. Prone to loud laughter, frequently at things nobody else thinks is funny.
• Bio: Son of a pair of English puppeteers, but decided to follow a somewhat different path instead. He describes his deck as having 'come to him'. Came to the duel academy in the hopes of finding those to compete against. Not many other details are known about him; he tends to get bit cagey when asked about the past, or about his long term goals.
• Duel Spirit: None. Although he has a certain affinity for duel spirits, and is willing to converse with those belongs to others, he prefers to treat his own cards as simple tools, and then are silent in turn.

• Name: Timothy Devita

• Age: 18

• Gender: Male

• Appearance: Quite short for his age, with long blonde hair, and dark blue eyes. His typical apparel includes a white jacket, over a dark green t-shirt, and black jeans. He carries a trusty, black harmonica in his jacket pocket.

• Personality: Timothy is a quiet boy, with strong passion for duelling and mechanics. Despite his size, he will stick up and protect anyone in need, often getting him into … interesting situations. He is also a reasonably good harmonica player.

• Bio: Born in Australia, he was raised by his mechanic father, who raised his son to love all sorts of robotic and mechanical wonders in the world. He was eventually inspired to start duelling, after first seeing the Vylon cards in a local shop, and his father’s encouragement.

• Duel Spirit: Vylon Omega, a long-time friend of Timothy, who tries to point him the right direction in life. Often toward the pursuit of uncalled-for justice and protection of the random innocent!

Question: Is his name Timothy or Warren?

Timothy. I call my characters Warren when I'm writing up the details, before I come up with a name for them, and I forgot to edit it. Sorry.

Minor concern: I don't think 'Crystal Dragon' is a real card. Now we do allow some custom cards but I'd like to get it's stats first before it's decided whether you can run it or not.

• Name: Roxas Lionheart
• Age: 16
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Blond hair and blue eyes. 5'4. Dark blue pants, a red shirt with a hood, and a white jacket. He wears black and red sneakers, and a belt with a lion buckle. He wears a necklave with 7 precious stones on it. One stone is made of sapphire, one cobalt, one amethyst, one emerald, one ruby, one amber, and one topaz.
• Personality: Roxas is open and honest, and is always willing to give a helping hand to others, even his enemies. He does have a sore spot regarding thieves though, and has been known to at a litle OOC regarding them. He is in no way a pragmatist and almost always seems to take the sentimental option over the smart option. As a result, he usually does not get along with Marcus.

He is also a giant ham.

• Bio: One of the duelist who fought against Apophis the previous year, Roxas is the chosen of the Rainbow Dragon. Due to the fact that he is probably the weakest of the duelists and the most sentimental, he somehow acquired the role of the chick.

Temporarily removed the traagedy cards from his deck due to the events of last year. He carries around the deck of one of the cultists, as well as their hatred, all the time.

• Age: 18.
• Gender: F.
• Appearance: She looks like this.
• Personality: Because of past experiences, she dislikes everything related to Duel Monsters’s supernatural side, such as Duel Spirits, and would rather pretend that they such things didn’t exist. For the same reason, she doesn’t like interacting with people and would rather prefer that they leave her be. When she does interact with others, she's usually calm and polite.
• Bio: When she was young, Crystal lost her parents in a train accident. She was adopted by friends of her family but ended up separated from her twin brother. Years later, she discovered that she could see Duel Spirits, an ability that caused to be mocked by her peers. Her parents sent her to East Academy in order, hoping that she wouldn’t face the same problem there. While there, she ended up being involved in the fight against Apophis and its cult. After the fight, she distanced herself from the rest of the students, hoping that this way she wouldn’t end up being involved in a similar situation ever again.

• Name: Simon Ivarice
• Age: 17
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Simon once heard a term being used to describe him: a perfect specimen. And in some people's eyes, this would most certainly be true. He has a large muscular body honed from various physical activities, mostly weightlifting, polo, and American football. He had short cropped blond hair and piercing blue eyes. He was clean shaven and generally did his best to constantly keep himself presentable, wearing polo shirts and dress pants when he could. However, he found himself still having to deal with bigots for his dark skin. As a result, he is often surrounded by a rather cold aura and avoids making friends most of the time.
• Personality: Simon believes and almost worships the status quo. Order is god and any who would seek to disrupt it should be stopped. But not just order; those who fall outside the mainstream are dangerous freaks in Simon's eyes. He also despises those who treat people as pawns, despite his position in life as the eventual head of a large company. Do not call him your friend until he deems it necessary.
• Bio: Simon is the firstborn son of Jennifer and Richard Ivarice and grandson of Julian Ivarice, founder of The Ivarice Electric & Energy Corporation, the largest energy provider in France and growing to supply other countries as well. He has been raised to take his place as the heir of the company and has been taught in any way possible to prepare him for the role. However, one lesson Simon never quite learned was respecting others. It wasn't quite that he saw himself as better than everyone else, but that they never measured up to what he wanted from them. Seizing the opportunity to have him mature using his only noted passtime that he enjoyed as bait, his parents shipped him off to East Academy, hoping that he would be shaped into the heir they needed him to be.
• Dorm:
• Duel Spirit: Herald of Perfection. It is a strong but silent type, preferring to let Simon, the force of nature that he is, do the talking. It seeks only to protect its young owner and will put itself in between him and anything it deems a threat to his safety. The two have a mutually respecting relationship, seeing each other as embodiments of pure order that should defend each other against the chaotic world ahead.
